Spider-Man: Fake Red

It's absolutely awesome. This book is great. I love it, I love the way Peter Parker/Spider-man was written, and Yu/Spider-man was written. This is a Prime example that Peter/Spider-man is a great character and not a loser or a joke he is portrayed to be in the current main Spider-man book.Yu is a loaner teenager struggling with life and high school. He has never thought of himself as a hero until he finds Spider-man's costume and Spider-man is missing. With the city in need and Spider-man suit and a pair of webshooters, what can Yu do? Also, what has happened to the real Spider-man?It is a great story with excellent artwork. Love the cameos of the other characters, great Easter eggs. Also, great action. It is great seeing Spider-man punch, kick as well as a webshoot, and win. Too many times, especially recently, writers forget that Spider-man has incredible strength and instincts and is an experienced fighter. I am glad all were remembered here. The book finishes with a varient cover gallery and Easter egg glossary. I would love to see much more of this series to come.

I would love to see an anime adaptation or even continue the book into a series.

a book about what spider-man is truly about. i didn't think id find that in thus manga but it shows "with great power comes great responsibility" really means. please if you have the money i urge you to buy this, if this book sells well the author will be able to write more

I've been a huge fan of this manga since I read it online and am so happy to finally have physical copy of it, the book arrived in great condition with little to no damage and the cover has a cool Web effect over top of the front and back of the book.

Impulse purchase to add to my graphic novel collection.Just seems a very average story. Can't imagine it will be one I'll read again in the future. Very predictable.

Spider-Man works really well in Manga. The story was unique and the art was stylish.

As a fan of both Spider-Man and manga, this was an amazing exploration of what it means to be the iconic web-slinger, recontextualizing the responsibilities that come with his secret identity. Great art, likeable characters that undergo personal growth, and an overall engaging story made this a pretty quick read for me. One of the best Spider-Man story told in recent years and an easy recommendation. It's also a standalone story that doesn't require extensive knowledge of the comics to jump in and enjoy.Really hope to see more stories in this universe, and more Spider-Man manga like this one.Includes a couple of full-colored pages as well as a colored art gallery at the end.
