Looks great, comfy for a modern sofa
For the price, this sofa is unbeatable. yes, it's faux leather but it looks real (a plus if you own cats and they like to make thousands of little pricks in the sides--at least it's not a super expensive sofa they are doing it too--I put blanket throws on the arms, and my cats are apparently too dumb to figure out there's something underneath, so that problem has been resolved). Anyhow, the sofa is comfy (not VERY, but comfy--just don't expect the comfort of an overstuffed fabric sofa; it is a leather (faux) sofa, after all). The profile is low, so keep that in mind--it's ideal for company, get-togethers, reading, etc.--not snuggling up with your pet or partner. The color is fantastic. The set up was easy (took less than 10 minutes from unboxing to finish).

Compact, cute, and comfortable enough
I had this couch for three years. It was about $300 when we bought it, it was our first piece of new furniture, and we were living in a much smaller house than the one that is pictured in this review. It replaced a too-big sectional that we found on the side of the road a couple years prior, and it was perfect for that space (a post-college home with a couple of roommates who were all invested in making the house look cool and function well).ASSEMBLY:Very easy to put together. Parts came in the small zippered storage compartments under the couch. You can also tighten pieces throughout the years through those zippered storage compartments.COMFORT:I've seen others say this isn't the comfiest couch. It is firm, and sleeping on it isn't like sleeping on a mattress, but it's comfier than many couch beds or futons I've slept on. It's awkward to sit in the middle as the couch dips in right there. It was only around year 3 that I started feeling any springs under the cushions. It was pretty comfy for at least 2.5 years.PRICE:Like I said, it was $300 when we got it. It looked great and worked well for 3 years. That's $100 a year or $8 a month for something we and our friends used constantly. I think it was a good deal.We got a new couch recently because our cats have torn this one to shreds, it's got a red wine stain, and you can start to feel a spring under one of the cushions. But only one of those things is the fault of the couch. Overall I'd say it's a great piece of starter furniture if you're trying to buy new on a budget.

Very nice looking couch for the price
This couch was originally purchased for my spare room being used as a TV room for the kids to hang out in. It was easyish to assemble. Unfortunately it was way too small and not comfortable enough to chill on. As you can see form the photo, I ended up keeping it anyway and using it as an additional accent couch in my living room and it worked out perfectly! The aqua color matches the accent colors in the living room very nicely. It is more aqua in color than the photos shows. It is less of a denim color as seen in my pictures. It is not very comfortable, especially the futon aspect of it. No one is going to be happy sleeping on this and it feels a bit unstable to do so. It is nice for guests to just sit on for a bit, but not a great couch to chill on and watch TV for too long. For the price I paid for it ($179.00), it is a good deal and great for a small space and infrequent, casual sitting, but not really for main couch and as you can see from the photos, it is much too small for a 12'x12' room. It looked minuscule in there. All and all, I don't regret my purchase and think it worked out for the better. Just be sure that you put the couch together where you will be putting the couch because once it is put together it is hard to move around and from room to room due to the movable back and you cant really slide it much because the legs are on an angle and may crack. Once together it cannot be moved through standard doorways and will have to be partially dissembled.Hope this review was helpful. :)

Absolutely Awful
I purchased the fold out/futon version of this sofa in mustard. The color is fantastic and the fabric is nice. That is where the positives end. I thought it would be sturdy, it heavy and the frame seems pretty solid. But about 3 months after putting it together, one of the arms is super loose and I can't get it back to where it should be. I put it down to lounge around on for a few days because it just wasn't easy to get super comfy on in the upright position. Now it will not return back to the seated position. Click click click, fall back down. I looked and one of the slats is broken. I weigh 150 lbs and I live alone. I wasn't jumping around on it or having some awesome crazy sex that broke the furniture. It's just a crappy sofa. When it's down, you have to put loads of additional pillows and whatnot because the frame is so prominent and there isn't a ton of cushion. Or you find a strategic spot to lie on where you can avoid the wood frame. It's just SO UNCOMFORTABLE on so many levels. I've been more comfortable on lawn furniture. Maybe it would be cool in a lobby somewhere, where it just takes up space and doesn't get a lot of use. Because it's cute. But it's not for people who like comfortable furniture that they are going to actually live on. That 4 star rating is a total joke. I honestly wish I had just spent more money the first time, because I feel a little ripped off to be honest. Now I have to buy another sofa.Also- I don't write reviews. Like ever. But I feel like I owe it to society to save everyone from buying this comfort nightmare. When I get something else I'm dragging this thing into the street and lighting it on fire.
