Excellent blade guard
Having recently invested in some new meat slicing knives it was sensible to get each blade one of these excellent German made travel sheaths. Keeps the blade safe and sharp whilst being lightweight and easy to clean.Have a variety of sizes now for when I need to take my knifes out to prepare food at our daughter's and grand-daughter's homes on Sunday lunchtimes and holidays.

Works perfectly
This knife sheath is a decent length, fits our knife with room to spare, and seems sturdy - we’ve had it for a couple of months and use it every day, so far, so good.

Protection for a knife and fingers if stored; expensive for what they are
Previously, similar kitchen knife protectors from another brand and in various lengths and widths were used for the larger knives that did not fit within an available knife block; unfortunately that range of products, which were also quite inexpensive, is no longer available. In design, the two are quite similar although of very different plastics, colour and price - these are by far the more expensive of the two ranges. The cost of adding one to an inexpensive knife may make the prospect less attractive although providing safety when handling. If several knives are stored in a drawer with their blades unprotected, the consequences of an accidental and possibly serious injury from an unprotected blade do not bear thinking about. From experience, serrated blades are those most likely to cause cuts from incidental contact and it is a new knife with such a blade that needs this.Available in several lengths to fit different knives that may exist in a collection and in a couple of widths to suit narrow blades (carving and boning knives, possibly) and wider chef's knives. These are of a relatively thin and flexible material (the older ones are solid, hard plastic) and grip the blade quite strongly. The protectors are unlikely to slip off unless the blade is very thin. While a necessity, they are expensive for what they are (but not the most expensive of their type) and do not offer best value.

Henkel knife sheath
Recommended by manufacturers to protect handmade Japanese knife when being moved . Also protects user when knife not in use but knife is usually stored on a magnetic knife block as that is the most hygienic method and least likely to blunt the knife.

pretty happy with this, does what it says and stops me cutting off a finger when going through the drawer!

Good quality product
Good quality product. I like the the sideways insertion design which is better and safer than having to insert the knife into the end. Would strongly recommend it.

Perfect fit
Aside the fact that I received it bent, perfect fit on the knife.

Knife Safety
I use these for chef’s knives in a kitchen drawer so that I don’t cut a finger reaching for it. I have some other shields but these are so easy to slip on and off.

A bit longer than needs to be
It probably is a good length for some knives, but not for a regular chef's knife. The smaller 8-inch is not long enough and this one is a bit too long. Either way, it's good quality, just a little pricey.

un poco corta
Es una funda correcta para los cuchillos , pero un poco corta para un cuchillo jamonero
