I like this coffee grinder for basic occasional use, it looks like it will last but time will tell. I have also used it to grinder peppercorns to make grounded pepper.

The device has worked a few times but now decides it is too much for the motor to cope with and all that is apparent is a whining noise.I shall complain to see if anytihng can be done about this item.

The bad news - this thing didn't grind even one portion of coffee beans before it failed. No grinding happening, just a whiny noise from the spinning motor. I thought it may have jammed, so cleaned it out, made sure it was fully charged, and it did spin when empty. Set the grind to the coarsest setting and tried again. Three seconds of grinding before it failed again. And again. Tried it with all settings and the same result.The good news - I got a nice walk to the Evri returns shop.

Bought this initially to grind flaxseed. It didn't work I tried the coffee still didn't work. Not a great product.

I love my coffee and I love this little machine. Now I am not a fanatic. I like both sugar and milk in my coffee, which I know some will scoff at, but that is how I like it. One of the problems I have seen with other portable coffee machines is that they only brew a mouthful of coffee. This one brews a decent amount, half filling the excellent little cup that comes with it. So I have found if I make two brews one immediately after the other, I have an almost full cup. I then add the milk I like and I have a really good size of excellent, hot coffee. The machine will take either hot, or cold water. When using hot water the the coffee is brewed almost instantly, with cold water the machine heats it up, taking about two minutes. The battery is powered via a USB port and I have brewed three cups of coffe, (as above), After one charge.

I needed a new coffee grinder as my old electric one blew up on me after ten years service.The main reason I selected this unit because of the portability, once charged I can use it anywhere and no more running wires across the counter surface.The unit can be used as an auto or manual grinder.With five level of thickness and easy clean.

Had this for about 5 months and the thing broke. Part that does the grinding is supported by thin crappy plastic which gave way. The design makes the plastic under pressure from the grinder and plastic is way too flimsy. Wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone

I had one previous grinder that was similar in style to this one. It was not of the same build quality though, and broke within a few days of use.This one is going strong.Pros:Quiet, easy to use, battery life, grind size settings, build quality, and comes with handle for manual grinding if battery diesCons:Can only grind about 20g of beans at once.I also wish I could use a different usb-c charging cable than the one provided, but for some reason my other cables do not seem to sit flush enough to charge.

My last battery operated burr grinder could not be charged any more and got this one to replace it and I am very happy with it so far. It does a nice fine ground for my espresso maker and switches quick and easily to a more coarse ground for my single cup french press. Switching back to the fine grind is a bit tricky, you have to make sure there are no remnants from last grind before you switch it back to the fine grind. It has a timer that turns it off at about the time your single cup coffee is fully ground. I thought it had a sensor that tells it when to shut off when it was finished with a grind but is just timed really well. It has a light telling you how much battery life is left. and it comes with a manual attachment to finish off a grind if you push it to far and run the battery out. I can get about 10 cups out of the grinder before it starts flashing the low battery light. Recharge time is not overly long and battery light shows the progress of the charging. I definitely recommend this grinder.

The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that I am not sure how long the little tabby, clicky things that hold the various parts together are going to last…the case is plastic…and kind of delicate feeling. However it grinds very well…making the fine grind I need for my aeropress. It grinds slow, and I like that, to preserve the flavor. Just right for a single cup grind. If you need more than a single cup at a time, look at some other product.
