⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crystal Clear and Built to Impress
This webcam blew me away. The video quality is sharp, bright, and smooth—even in low lighting. Whether I’m hopping on Zoom for work or streaming for fun, it captures every detail without lag or weird color issues. The built-in mic is surprisingly solid too—clear enough that I didn’t even need my external one in a pinch. Setup was truly plug-and-play—no fuss, no drivers, just straight to business. It stays securely perched on my monitor and even looks sleek doing it. If you want to look like a pro on camera without dropping a fortune, this is the one to get. 🎥💻🔥

It's A Good Webcam and the Price is Right
I bought it to replace one that I had for years. It's a great replacement. The price, quality, sound and performance are top notch. And it's extremely easy to use. Just take it out the box and plug it in the portal. My images are clear and the lighting is good. It's a workhorse and it's durable. I've dropped it a few times because I use it on a laptop that I move around a lot. It's really great!

Typical Depstech Quality for a good value
Just received this DEPSTECH DW50 camera and first impressions are great! Good quality image and good construction feel of the camera itself, however the USB plug has almost no resistance when plugging it into my computer. I tried it in other ports on my computer and all my other USB devices plug in and feel solidly connected. I like the physical privacy shutter as well as the status light telling me when the camera is activated. So far I have tested with a web conference and it's worked great. I have been experimenting with OBS and it is struggling when recording locally, but while streaming seems to be working great. Sound quality is so so, but what to be expected for a webcam. For OBS purposes I would be using an external mic anyways so not really concerned, but would have been a 5 star if they nailed the audio. Overall happy with the device and as long as the "loose" fitting USB connection doesn't cause problems down the road. Overall though I have confidence in Depstech support that if there are any issues they will be there to help. I will be testing this device further and will try to put it through some stress testing before the return period expires.

It’s Alright
Well for the most part it’s pretty good. The quality of the picture and sound are great but the remote does not actually zoom the picture in or out, plus the camera if you have it on the highest resolution, constantly zooms in and out, plus I had to install the drivers for the camera and the microphone. The microphone I had to install twice for some reason. The only other ick I have about this camera is that the little tripod stand it comes with sucks it really does you are better off just putting it straight on your laptop

Good, Versatile Webcam
The accessories (tripod, USB-C adaptor, remote control) give a lot of versatility to this camera. After reading other reviews, I downloaded and installed the firmware update from the website, though I am not sure that it was necessary. It would be nice if there was an easy way to know what firmware is installed on the webcam out of the box. Plug-and-play worked flawlessly on my Windows 10 computer The clip-on mounting process on the top of my monitor works well for me, and the webcam easily swivels to face in the optimum direction. The remote control is most useful for muting the microphone, turning on and off the camera during a call, and autofocus activation. The 4K camera is very sharp, good picture quality. Bottom line, the webcam does a fine job for Zoom calls.

Excellent unit for conference calls
This unit is replacing an older Microsoft LifeCam I use for Teams and Zoom meetings and is a major improvement. Using a test function for the microphone audio is clear and in calls with others they have also reported clear audio. Camera wise - excellent, the visual difference is very apparent compared to the old unit not only seeing in the application “preview” mode but those on the other end are reporting much better quality, brighter and vibrant image. Settings are at default and no special lighting is used - overheads are off and a side desk lamp is in use as always. Photo left is this device, right is the old camera. Only comment driven by my OCD - the pad that rests on top of the monitor is a little bumpy and so it doesn’t sit flat and straight. Yes, the camera unit can be adjusted but I added a little packing under it to make it straight to appease my OCD and symmetry thinking mind.

super clear and works out of the box
It works out of the box. Plug and Play. The mounting is very gentle so no worries about damaging monitors. It also has a physical lens cover slider for privacy! Saved me from buying another laptop as the built-in webcam was damaged. Also I work on an external monitor so its nice to have the webcam front and center.
