I have the original wingspan and a couple expansions. I really like this expansion because it does double duty as a standalone game or you can add it to the original game. It felt like getting a new game into our roster since the mechanics of the 2-player standalone is different to the original. The quality was just as good as the original game (which is excellent) and the collection of birds are interesting with interesting powers. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to grab a great game for date night or a really cool expansion with different goals to mix it up.

Love this game! Beautiful and well crafted. I also feel like I learn something new about birds every time. It’s a great game to play with my family, we have a lot of fun and it’s easy for the kids to pick up.

Wingspan Asia is a fantastic 'next step' game for when you're ready for a touch more complexity on game night. It features gorgeous bird artwork along with real life facts for each bird.Interesting twist with a new 2 player stand alone version of Wingspan called Duet.Also adds support for a 7 player game (requires base game, not included). Or - just integrate it with your base game for more variability in cards and end game goals.I highly recommend it for the nature lovers in your life.

Awesome expansion. The duet mode is very cool, and the new birds added are great. When is South America coming?

I am obsessed with this games and its expansions! I have it on my phone as well but there is nothing like playing a board game! The art and designs are beautiful. The information about the birds is fun as well! You really start to pay attention to the winged friends around you!

Overall Wingspan Asia is a nice expansion/duet game to play. If you don't care for Wingspan, then this won't change your mind on it I do not think. It does allow you to play 6 or 7 player base Wingspan, but I have a hard time thinking that would be much fun as the game can drag... However to play 6 or 7 player it has two people conducting their turns simultaneously which can help the pace of play, but I have not had a group to try this with.THe main feature is being able to play a two player game that is a bit different than the original. It adds a separate board that both players need to interact with. It works well and we enjoyed it, but I liked the European Expansion more and this one depending on how many players you have, would be good for if you play a lot of 2 player games, otherwise I probably prefer Oceania.

This game is spectacular and this expansion lends an extra layer of complexity. The illustrations and bird facts contribute to the fun of the game by providing good distraction. If you enjoy complex table top games, this game and expansion is right for you!
