I recently bought this and the Rosemary Herb chicken together, and I'm confused as to the apparently drop in quality. These are some of the best meat snacks on all of amazon hands down, I've had TONS of different flavors and types and companies and this one was always a safe go-to (especially the pork).However this time, they're tougher, more leathery, far less flavorful yet saltier. This is exactly the opposite of the softer, savory, deliciousness they were known for before, so either 1) they've changed the formula or cooking process and it's become extremely disappointing, or 2) I got a very bad batch.... except that would mean I got 2 bad batches since I bought it with the chicken of the same flavor. All I can say is I hope this is not your new normal and that you go back to the amazing product you had before, DiMario.

Updated review: It's been nearly two years since I posted the pretty lame review below and I feel like these little sticks deserve a better review. I first started buying these chicken sticks because they were only 1 point on Weight Watchers and they were an easy, protein rich snack to have on the go. I literally keep a couple of these guys in my purse pretty much all the time, just in case I get stuck somewhere and have a snack attack. And speaking of snack attacks, those of you with kids know how they can get- they always seem to be wanting a snack. Well, surprisingly my 4-year old daughter has taken a liking to these chicken sticks. As far as taste is concerned, to me they are similar to a Slim Jim, but not as smokey, not as greasy, and not as tangy. They are lean. I'm no longer doing WW, but I'm counting calories and eating a lower calorie diet with high protein foods to promote satiety. These fit the bill as they only have 45 calories per stick, they are lean with 1.5 g fat, they have 1 g of carbs (not sugars) and they're high in protein (7 g or 62%). I've purchased 8 boxes of the chicken sticks over the past 2 years and have come back today to buy another. I keep trying other meat sticks that I come across in the grocery store, but none are as good as these. UNDER THE "COLLAGEN CASING" THAT IS A LIGHT TAN COLOR WHEN YOU PEEL IT OFF IS A VERY RED COLORING. THE LABEL DOES NOT LIST ANY INGREDIENT THAT WOULD BE A RED COLOR. I'M HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO NIGHTSHADES (PEPPERS, TOMATOES, ETC.) AND MY KIDS ARE ALLERGIC TO RED DYE AND OTHER CHEMICAL FOOD COLORINGS. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY FOR INFORMATION ON WHAT IT IS AND GOT NO ANSWER. I CAN'T RETURN THE ITEM, SO I'M OUT $60 FOR THE 2 BOXES THAT I BOUGHT (CHICKEN AND PORK). I'M LOOKING INTO CONTACTING THE FDA AND FILING A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE COMPANY FOR FAILURE TO LIST ALL INGREDIENTS ON THEIR LABEL.UPDATE: THE COMPANY REACHED OUT TO ME AND OFFERED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. ALTHOUGH THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO TELL ME WHAT THE RED COLOR WAS FOR SURE, THEY SAID IT COULD BE A BYPRODUCT OF THEIR COOKING PROCESS. THEY STATED THAT THEIR PRODUCT IS APPROVED BY THE USDA AND IS A "NATURAL" PRODUCT.

These are some of the best snack sticks I’ve ever had. I like a little heat with my food and this provides it. It’s not overpowering either. It has a great taste and crunch to the skin. I found these at my local butcher but their selling price was a little high for me. Next step buy them on Amazon for a great price. Highly recommend.

My hubby & I LOVE DiMario All-Natural Pork Snack Sticks in every flavor: Original, Hot, and Garlic & Fennel. A super snack, easy to take along, and filling. We are Weight Watchers & each stick is only 2 SP! We did not, however, care for the chicken product stick; just a personal preference. The only con would be the snacks are quite pricey, but I will repurchase again & again! They’re just that good! I highly recommend this product to everyone! 👍👍

I won't lie, these don't taste quite as good as the higher fat meat sticks, but almost, and they are still VERY good! These are a healthier choice and are very satisfying! I carry one in my purse so that I am not tempted to make unhealthy choices, and it works!

Really tasty. Not too dry, not too moist. Perfect balance of pork flavors and spices, with a good amount of heat, but not overpowering. These are great snacks with no carbs, nitrates or nitrites. Giving them as a gift. Hopefully he doesn't count them, as I had to taste test one! I approve!

Tender, good flavor, probably will try a different flavor next time. Nothing I HAVE to order again, but serve the purpose of a healthy & tasty low carb snack.
