Poor shipping of item
The clamps and crimper themselves are decent the shipping from Amazon however is poor. The case is broken and inside tray is cracked from throwing the box around

Great Product - Amazon crushed the box though
The media could not be loaded.  We have a small factory, and will use these to repair pneumatic / air tool hoses, and make small 'whip' hoses from old hoses.CONCLUSIONHighly recommended. At ~$30, you can't go wrong. You could easily spend 5x-10x that much for half this qty of band clamps at HD or LOW (before the lost time driving).THE GOOD• Fast & easy installation. See photos and the video I attached showing me crimping a 3/8" barb fitting on an old 3/8" rubber air hose. It only takes seconds to slip on and crimp.• There are NO SHARP EDGES to cut your hands like what you get with those screw down hose clamps.• Huge assortment of bands! Probably won't use most sizes, but figured I'd get the assortment to see which ones we'll use and then re-order those specific sizes. FYI, In our application, the hose OD expands when you insert the barbed repair fitting, so I didn't end up using the size I thought I would. The bands compress quite a bit - I was (pleasantly) surprised how much slack it took up.• Each band is stamped with it's "open" size: The 12.8-15.3mm bands I used to fix our air hose are stamped 153 on them for easy size identification.• Much tighter than a screw-type band clamp - especially for small diameters. I often find I damage traditional clamps by over-tightening them, and then the screw jumps the band. These get REALLY TIGHT... see photos.THE BAD• The box is cheap - what I expect with this sort of thing at this price, and it arrived cracked. The damage likely had more to do with Amazon's shipping it in a bubble mailer vs a corrugated box. I don't fault the manufacturer for this as much as I fault Amazon - so I didn't take off a star for that. That said, I put a little duct tape over the hinge and the cracks, and it'll be fine. I didn't buy it for the organizer, I bought it to fix our hoses.OTHER FYI• These are permanent for better or worse: Unlike a screw type band clamp, there is no removing them once installed - cut them off to remove them.• I don't know why I used two of these on my air hose (in case anyone is wondering). It was my first time using it, and I realized I could fit two on there, so I did. Next time I will probably only use one per repair. These squeeze the hose way more than a screw down clamp does; maybe because they're narrower, maybe because the tool gives you greater mechanical advantage. I'm not sure why, but it's visually evident that the clamps are much tighter on the hose than traditional band clamps.

Works great but
Works great but not a good-looking end product. For odds and ends it's great however, for a show quality engine compartment, there are better options. Maybe opt for a kit with additional size options for those odd ball diameters...

Way less expensive than other brands!
We are a mobile air compressor repair company. It is in a clear kit box that makes it easy to carry from service call to service call. I may buy another one for in the shop. Currently we keep our clamps in a vidmar which makes it impossible to be mobile. The price point can’t be beat!

A lot of the sizes are useless.. Quality OK, not great
I have a pex kit that has standard SAE sizing in it.. If you compare the 2 in quality of materials, you will find that the metal in the clamps on my other set are about 50% thicker then the metal in this set.. The width of the bands are the same on the smaller sizes, but once you get to the 5/8" or 3/4" sizes, the bands get wider, along with the metal being thicker, on my SAE size set.. You can see the difference in the thickness of the metal in the 2 comparison pictures with the white background. You can see the difference in the width of the band in 32mm equivalent size in my last picture..If you want to compare what is most commonly used in my experience.. When putting on CV Boots on cars axles, they use the thicker, wider clamps, like what came in my SAE set, not the thinner ones like what is in this set..I would like to note.. That does not mean that these are not worth getting or using.. I am just noting that if you need something larger in size, with a lot of holding power, you will want the thicker and wider bands, not the thinner and weaker ones like are in this set..I did find that the magnet did not stick to the rings, so they are stainless steel in that type of a test..I found the excessive amount of tiny, and mostly useless sizes, in this set, does not help make this set a good purchase.. For example.. Just think about the smaller sizes.. 30 6mm pieces.. That is basically the size of a small vacuum line on a car.. The size I would need on the gas line on my push lawnmower would be about 14mm (taking into consideration the 1/4" open part plus the thickness of the line)..They say the most common sizes, but IMO, vacuum lines, gas lines on things that are gravity fed like lawnmower engines, etc either would not need a clamp, or would need limited strength clamps, like spring clamps, and would not need something with a lot of holding power, like this type of a clamp.. The smallest that I would use would probably be in the 13 to 15mm range, which means, there is a good chance that I will never use the smallest 110 pieces of the set.. Granted, it is better to have then not have if you do need them.. But I have never once in my life ever needed a pex clamp that small.. I do not expect that to change in the future either..Those are the reasons why I gave it 3 stars.. Over half of the set is useless to me, and they used thinner metal then what I have used in the past.. I would say that this is a decent set for hobbyist and basic use.. But that does not mean these will be best for everyone..
