Katalax for Cats (Hairballs/Furballs) » 20g Tube

This was recommended by my vet for my cat who suffers from regular constipation due to a bowel disorder. It's a really sticky paste which I mix in with a liquid treat and he really gobbles it up. He actually has it 2-3 times a week & it has made all the difference, virtually instantly. He's a much happier cat as a result. Although this is is relatively expensive I'd say it's worth every penny.

Works well cat loves it

This is a wonderful product. Bit like Marmite for cats. If cat has a fireball coming or is a bit off colour, this paste seems to work like a pick me up. I just squeeze a bit on my finger and place in her mouth. She seems to enjoy the taste too which is a bonus.

Used before for my cats works well

I bought this to help out cat as we think he might have a hair all stuck. It doesn’t seem to have done very much and we have some much cheaper just standard hair all past from the pet shop that has worked so given the price I would’ve expected this to work better but it hasn’t. The cats do like the flavour though so getting them to eat it isn’t too much of a big deal.

Within 4 days, its seemed to clear the fur ball my car had.

Our cat is a 16 years old Siamese with her own "voice" so communicates with us as her equals. However for about a year she has been communicating in other ways to show she did not like the food we were serving, and becoming sociably unacceptable in her habits to back up her opinions. We tried the usual ploys of changing the food and treats but to no avail. Prior to the problems she had been a very clean cat with the usual fur balls and varying degrees of coughing as a result. About 6 months ago one fur ball nearly choked her to death and I had to assist her to breath (only by patting her back and massaging her throat into the chest - but it frightened me so I took her to the vets). After a good look, long consultation, a blood test and a bill that ruined my socialising for a week, The vets opinion was the usual kidney complaint, with some tablets and a tube of KATALAX to help with the coughing and fur balls. BINGO!! within 3 days the cat was redomesticated, eating well and talking to us as her equals once again. About half an inch of KATALAX is just added to her food, simply covered over and disappears at the normal speed. Also we have noticed she seems to sense where the KATALAX has been added and eats that bit first!!!! (AND THAT'S A FIRST) . To summarise - we now have our cuddly, communicative cat back with a bit of coughing and the odd fur ball, but nothing like the stress she was subjecting us to - long live the cat!!!!
