[UPDATE 23/02/20:As I was going through my Christmas junk pile I came across the instructions that came with this - you know, the ones you toss to one side when you open something like this cos you figure "how complicated can it be!?". Anyway, to my amazement, it said there's no on/off switch but all you have to do is tap the canvas to switch it on and tap it to switch it off. Well I stumbled on this when I used it but I didn't realise it was deliberate - I thought it was just an convenient accident due to bad wiring. So that's exactly how I was turning it off and on all Christmas - tapping it once for on and once for off. I was amazed it always worked! But now I know why. Why they don't just state this in the product description I don't know. It could save a lot of confusion. Give this new info I've upped my review from 2 stars to 4]_________________________________________________________________________________________"Rudolph the red nosed reindeer,had a very shiny nose,and since there's not an off switch,all through the night it glows."I like it but there's no on/off switch. So once the batteries are in, it's on permanently until they run out.Having bought 2 others which do have an on/off switch, I'd say it's a pre-requisite for this type of product.Otherwise it'd be a charming little Christmas decoration. But that just makes it weird.

Not good quality
No on/off so when the batteries are in it stays on. And it’s difficult to hang up as back is just flat (I like to use removable adhesive hooks but they don’t work with this)

Satisfactory but disappointing.
Christmas decoration of Santa riding in sleigh pulled by riendeer's through night sky. Pleased with picture, however this has got an array of lights operated by batteries which looks very festive when illuminated for display but minus a switch to turn on/off so batteries need to be removed every night. Would not recommend for this reason.

Nice picture . Quality battery container . Loses a star as the arrangement of the led lights turn the picture into a blur when ceiling light is turned off.
