I want to make this abundantly clear, that of obviously has different taste buds. If you are the kind of person who is picky about the kinds of food that you eat I highly recommend that you do not buy these. However I'm my opinion this is so delicious. I see a lot of people complaining about smell. I do not get any fishy smell. To me it smells similarly to a slim Jim. But again the smell may be totally different for you. If you are like me and love trying new foreign foods and your taste buds love versatile flavors this is for you!

Its weird, squishy, and smelly. Don't get it if you think it'll taste amazing. It tastes like pig butt, but in a very bad way. The spice is the best part to it, but it doesn't take away the oily smelly taste. It is a personal taste at best.

This is the second kind of latiao I've had. It has a slightly spicy kick, lots of pepper flakes and sesame seeds, and a good amount of latiao per package. The texture is spongy and soft-- not very firm like the other latiao I had. It's very fun to chew and feel all the oils release with every bite. The smell is not harsh at all and didn't stink up a whole room-- not for me at least.Be careful to not eat too much in one sitting like I did. It has a lot of sodium and gave me an upset stomach. If you can help yourself from having more than two, then this is a decent buy.

I’m white and I can think why poeple don’t like it but honestly it’s not bad. It’s the right amount of spicy and I love spicy and the texture is juicy and like rubber but in a good way. But it’s kind of sweet and it’s just an off smell and an off taste but I would still eat these. I’m probably gonna put some salt on them and see if they taste diffrent but wouldn’t order again but definitely gonna eat all of these.

These snacks are so good. Not terribly spicy or chewy, just right. And it’s really good value for the price considering there’s four packs. The oiliness might be the only thing that might be a negative because it hurts your stomach if you eat a lot, but otherwise they’re an addictive treat. Again though, they are high in salt and oil, so I’d limit your consumption.

I thought these would be more like sweet/salty but they are more salty but like a weird salty so I didn’t really enjoy them.

I was influenced by those IG videos and these are VILE. Honestly the taste isn’t horrible, but the smell will make you gag. The deal breaker is the consistency, it’s like biting into a wet sponge. And the flavor is impossible to get rid of; not to mention my boyfriend and I got so sick we were both having horrific stomach problems after one bite each, and it’s not the spice, we love spice. Don’t let the videos fool you! 🤢

Read the other comments, but more importantly, read mine. These are sweet, almost like hot honey if you've ever had it. The texture is chewy kinda like a soft twizzler. The smell is not as bad as people say it is, it smells kind of like a spicy chicken sandwich or something from chickfila.
