Purchased as a gift. Hasn't disappointed.
Haven't personally tasted this tea as purchased as a gift. It does smell nice! The caddy is beautiful. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent tea for a special treat
The very different taste of Pu-erh tea makes it a distinctive luxury item and the sellers have packaged it accordingly in a substantial canister that has an interior second seal by means of an airtight metal disk. It is one of my favourite teas and traditionally has many health benefits: yet the increase in heavy metals in the single area where Pu-erh is grown suggests moderation in its use.

Tea
Really testy tea. I have tried many red tea before. This one is actually tasty 😋

Good tea
Good tea but I still prefer the mini-cake Pu Erh.

Odd to smell and taste
I bought this a few years ago, and it had an awful fishy smell. I thought this was due to the fermenting process, so I gave it a while, but every time I bring it out, it's just as foul. I had a quick look online, and this is apparently the sign of badly fermented tea. Washing the tea reduces the smell somewhat, so I'm doing that from now on, but I don't think I'll be buying more any time soon.

Perfect for a diet, and refreshing.
Excellent for detoxifying and really refreshing as well.

A bit fishy
Tastes a bit fishy, rather unpleasant. I really want to enjoy this.I have looked up this issue and tried to resolve it - I washed the tea before brewing. Still didn't work. Now I am leaving it to mature in the cupboard in the hope the smell and taste of fish will fade with time.

Wonderful tea
Hands down one of the best cups of Pu-erh I've ever had! No strange smell, just lovely, earthy/woody flavour. If you've never brewed this tea before, I recommend visiting The Tea Makers website as they have a really good begginers guide to brewing Pu-erh.
