Great little batteries
Great little batteries to power my Bosch tools. These batteries keep the overall tool weight down making handling & working easier and are quick to recharge. I have around 6 of these so always have a fully charged one ready. Used in Drills, Sanders, Multitools & Angle grinders. Excellent, good pricing too from Amazon at around £20.

Perfect add on for Bosch tools
I've been using the Bosch Professional 18V battery for a while now, and I have to say, it has really impressed me. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it is, making it easy to handle while working on projects. It fits perfectly with all my Bosch tools, which is a huge plus. The battery life is fantastic—I've used it for several long sessions, and it just keeps going. I’ve had issues in the past with batteries dying too soon, but this one holds its charge really well. Plus, it charges up relatively quickly, so I'm not stuck waiting around too long before I can get back to work. One thing I appreciate is the reliability. I haven't faced any sudden drops in power, which is crucial for maintaining performance during tasks. It really feels sturdy, and I’m confident it’ll last for a good amount of time. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. If you're looking for a solid battery that won’t let you down, I’d definitely recommend giving the Bosch Professional 18V battery a try. It's been a game changer for my DIY projects!

Weight saving battery.
I normally use 4ah batteries in my Bosch blue tools. These are a lot lighter, both financially and weight wise so ideal for a drill driver when working on ceilings etc. Plenty of power as well, so can be used for DIY jobs at home instead of a larger AH battery.

They are Bosch Pro-spec batteries and they last
I base the headline on the fact that I bought a Pro spec combi drill and impact driver in early 2015 and have used both quite a lot at home. Those came with 1.5Ah batteries. I also bought a single 1.3Ah "Compact" battery (cheap from another source) so that I always have a battery to fit when one of the 1.5Ah ones runs down - but one of those has finally "died" after 4yrs. Therefore I needed at least one more new one because the tools themselves are fine (if a little "battered!), and so was very pleased when I found the 2.0AH versions here on Amazon for less than I paid the 1.3AH Compact! Also, you need to register on the Bosch Professional Tools (NOT the site for Bosch domestic products) in order to get the warrantee extension to 2 years. That can be problematic because you may not find the part number (a long number beginning "1.6..." or "2.6.....") printed on the battery to be shown in the website list - if so, find the nearest part number shown and enter that. Seriously, that's what you have to do, and it works!

So far so good
I was very tempted to buy a non Bosch battery which for a few pounds more provides higher amperage but in the end I decided to go with Bosch as my existing one has been very good. The price was good and delivery fast and warranty is decent

Lightweight
Wanted it for my small sander as I was working on a wainscoting , worked well and reduced fatigue.

Disappointing performance and battery life from a brand I usually trust
I’ve invested heavily in Bosch Professional over the years, spending thousands on both corded and 18V battery tools, and I’ve always trusted the brand for quality and reliability. I bought this 2.0Ah battery specifically because I wanted a low-profile option for tools like the multi tool and the sander, where balance and weight matter more than runtime. Unfortunately, the performance has been extremely disappointing. I used it on my Bosch orbital sander gex 18v-125 for the first time and after around five minutes of light sanding, the battery cut out completely. It was fully charged beforehand, but the indicator dropped from three bars straight down to one bar almost immediately. That’s nowhere near acceptable for a Professional-branded battery, even at 2.0Ah. What makes this more frustrating is that I didn’t discover the issue sooner. I bought the battery, trusted it would perform as expected, and stored it with my other tools in the shed because I didn’t need it straight away. I only got around to using it about two months later. That trust is exactly why this feels like such a let-down, especially from a brand I’ve respected since childhood. In terms of build quality, easy to use as it fits the tools without issue, the battery itself looks and feels fine, but performance and reliability are what matter most here. For the price, the value for money simply isn’t there if the usable runtime is this poor. I’ll be sticking to higher-capacity Bosch batteries going forward and wouldn’t recommend this one for anything more demanding than very short, light tasks.

Lightweight and powerful
For the money, this is an genuine Bosch battery, yes it may have less capacity, but why not by 2 and keep one on charge. It also has the benefit of being much lighter, making the tool easier to use.
