A family member recently acquired a social housing tenancy. Lovely property but the previous tenants had cats, dogs, indoor rabbits. Needless to say the carpets were in a terrible state and smelled disgusting. We thought we would have to throw them away but decided to try this solution with my carpet cleaner. Oh my word, what a game changer this was. Excellent product it neutralised the smells immediately and has continued to work. The carpet smells fresh and clean. I was a bit dubious but this really works. We'll worth the money and we didn't have to send a carpet to the tip.

This is a professional-grade cleaning chemical. Do not use around children or people with asthma. It has a very strong citrus scent, and will make people cough! It removes odours quickly, and efficiently. I use it in a spray, but will also work as an air freshener, and a carpet cleaner. Simply pour, and mix with the required ratio of water as stated on the bottle. Be careful not to get on your hands, as this can cause irritation. This has removed the smell of cat urine from the sofa and the carpet just by spraying on and using the kitchen towel to dab dry. It has also put the cat off going back to these areas as she does not like the smell. Very good product.

I have a disabled pug who sometimes dribbles while he wobbles around so I bought a carpet cleaning machine and a spotwash cleaning machine. Despite most dribbles being caught and cleaned up pretty quickly I found normal carpet shampoo wouldn't be sufficient to stop smells developing. So I bought a specific urine destroyer carpet cleaning solution on here. I was happy with it and it definitely helped keep the carpet/house smelling fresh but it isn't cheap. I saw this was almost £10 cheaper for the same amount so decided give it a try. The first thing I noticed was the gorgeous lemon scent when I opened it. I put a diluted solution in my spotwash cleaner and waited until I needed to use it. I have to say, I LOVE it. It seems to remove any stains (but I probably clean my carpet more than the average thanks to the leaky dog) It smells lemon fresh the whole time and no smells have re-emerged upon drying. I have a diluted solution in a spray bottle too and spritz the carpet before I go to bed. Just a slight misting and my room has never smelt cleaner/fresh. This will be my go to carpet cleaning solution from now on- even though the other brand was good too...this is just so much better.

This was recommended to us for cat urine. Does exactly what it says it does. After years of using various cleaning products mainly enzyme cleaners which didn’t really work finally something that does work. Various changes that we have made as well to help our cats especially the one that likes to wee outside of the litter trays and patience we have 2 very happy cats and very clean carpets. Would I recommend this cleaning products absolutely.

This stuff smells nice and there's lots of it for your money. However, it totally fails to remove the smell of cat urine. After spraying, blotting, respraying, blotting carpet for an entire week, I still ended up having to rip up the carpet and taking it to the tip. The underlay and floor boards were soaked as I had used that much of it on a 50% dilution. It does add a nice fragrance to my steam mop but that's about it to be honest.
