GRASSE EXPERIENCE

I absolutely adore Grasse. This is my third time of buying it. I would say it’s probably not for the young, but for the mature woman. I tend to spray it on my clothes, and I have had so many compliments, with people saying “you smell wonderful”. The scent seems to last a long time when sprayed directly onto your jumper, blouse, t-shirt, or whatever else you are wearing. It is real value for money, and highly recommend it.

Lovely this body spray, scent is lovely, lasts all day. Great spray. Value for money. Lovely smell. I get complimented on this regularly. Easy to wear.

Like most people I have my favourite signature perfume but now and again have purchased Clinique Aromatics for a change. I like its warm, clean almost soapy smell although some people do find it a little too strong and heady. Having read reviews about Grasse I thought I would compare the two. For this price what did I have to loose! I am absolutely delighted and find very little difference from the much more expensive Clinique product. If you like Aromatics then try this even if only as a cheaper option for everyday wear.I have worked in the perfume industry and generally hate cheap copies claiming to smell like the real thing but not so with this one. Do be warned though, Clinique Aromatics has a very strong distinctive fragrance which is not for everyone so the same applies to Grasse. As for me, I love it and will purchase again.

Found this very similar to a well known perfume, similar package colour! Lasts well.

Nice fragrance but apart from a brief moment when first sprayed this is nothing like I remember the original from when I bought it in the 90's. Now, maybe in the last 30 years the original has changed and this copy is similar to that, I don't know. Anyway, I'll still use it as it smells like beauty soap used to smell like in the 80's.

I love Cliniques Aromatics and use it almost daily, infact for the past 28+ years! and I regularly get asked and what perfume I'm wearing. So in need of a new bottle I searched amazon for a more competitive price than the department store where I usually buy from and I saw this. Having read the positive reviews it got for its likeness to my favourite fragrance, I thought it was worth a try, I could maybe use this daily as an alternative and keep my much more expensive clinique for special occasions etc. Well I have to say that I am hugely disappointed, to me it is nothing like aromatics at all....it has a nasty chemical type smell with undertones of burned rubber, followed by an overpowering sweet smell that I couldn't bear on my skin, thankfully it started to disappear after an hour or so of wearing so it doesn't have the staying power of the real thing either. So is it really cheaper in the long run? because if I had liked it I would probably have to reapply 2 or 3 times a day whereas I use clinique just once a day and I can still smell it later on. So yes it is cheap, it is an 'imitation' and the price reflects the perfume in my opinon......cheap!....so I will stick with my clinique in future, lesson learnt!
