Fits the 4th Gen Tacoma, but there is a rattle. I had to apply several pieces of tape to the inside to get a better fit. Took an extra 5 mins. It's works, but you may need to do some extra work for the rattling

I’ve been slowly doing a chrome deletion inside my Tacoma since I’ve completed the outside, and the chrome piece around the gearshift was the hardest to find a solution, I was about to try and take it completely off to paint it like I did the vent rings and push start chrome ring.This was a fairly straightforward installation, it clipped on with no issues, I just followed their advice with the included instructions, so no clips would break.To keep my oem gearshift knob, I had to grind off the clips on the knob for it to sit flush on this piece, which has worked out well.As you see I painted the piece matte white to match the other pieces, and it took the paint great, bonded really well without having to do anything extra to it, it looks like it came that way.Highly recommend this if you’re wanting to delete your chrome.

This was awesome to be able to change out my shift knob. It’s a little pricey but it’s kinda worth it, could be a little more sturdy but I’d buy it again.

I replaced my automatic shift knob and it left the boot uncovered. This was perfect to give it the “finished” look I wanted. It’s a piece of plastic and I don’t see taking it off again, so for now, I think it should last awhile.

I almost didn’t buy this due to some of the bad reviews it has. But honestly what do people expect?It is and does exactly what the seller advertises.It’s a plastic cap to hide/cover the ugly chrome shifter clip in a Toyota Tacoma if you swap out the shifter knob. That’s it. That’s all it is. Is it a thin light weight plastic cap? Yes it is.Could it be thicker? I guess it could but I don’t know the engineering logistics or if it even needs to be thicker.Is $20 a lot of money for this little piece of plastic? Yeah but try and find an alternative.So it’s worth what people will pay for it and in this case it’s around $20…It worked/works for me and yeah I’d rather it was $5 but it isn’t.

Installed via instructions, when I turned the cover clockwise to lock it into place, two of the tabs broke off. Still seems to be holding, but shifter makes noise on the boot now

It fits loose, pay great attention to instructions it'll be easy to break a tab (i did not) for 50$ it should come with stickers, adapter to prevent the plastic from rattling off the shift knob
