Does a good job in a small area like a porch or shed

I don't think this is even suitable for a small room. I bought this for a small bedroom so this can keep humidity of my kid's bedroom under control. It started off silently but started becoming very noisy. It hardly collects 100 ml in 3-4 days. I have humidity monitors set up in bedroom and see no observable difference ( I still had to get the cold air in and heat it up to level the humidity inside to below acceptable levels)I do not personally see any other use for this device and do not recommend if you are looking to buy this for a small room!.P.S: My requirements are to dehumidify a cold, damp room (16-19 C and 70-80% RH) so if your operating conditions are different may be it will work for you.

Leave this on day and night, uses hardly any electricity.No more soaking windows full of condensation, totally dry on a morning no more mouldy window!Have to leave the dehumidifier over the other side of the room as it produces quite abit of noise, sounds like a old computer turned on.Collects round 100ml over 12 hours

Very small compare to other I have used. Container capacity is just 300ml based on picture it seemed like it could hold 500ml but its deceiving. Don’t feel like switching it on and returning next day. But will try for couple of days and see as the room is very humid to test.

This dehumidifier is quite small meaning can fit nearly anywhere with ease.Its shape and design also means it looks nice no matter where you put it. It can be plugged directly into a USB port or a main socket with the included adapter. I had it set up next to my bed so it wasn't humid when I slept at night. The dehumidifier is virtually silent, didn't notice it once when I was trying to sleep. The device can be constantly kept on and will automatically shut itself off when its water container is full. Just pull it out and empty the water then it's ready to use again. This is a great product, does exactly what it says it should. Recommend it to anyone looking for a small compact dehumidifier.

Don't waste your money

This dehumidifier is a really nice looking white box and looks nice wherever you put it. Set up was very easy, just plug it in and away your go. I set it up in my bedroom and the noise is very quiet. It is actually quite comforting having it “Whirl” away in the corner of the bedroom.This item is essential if you have a damp room as it takes the damp away, collecting the moisture in a little “sump” in the base of the unit. This is then easily removed by simply sliding out of the unit and emptying. This will also work well where you do your laundry as it will prevent any damp moisture getting into laundry and making it go mouldy. Another thing that I’m looking forward to is that it winter my bedroom windows are prone to condensation and this will clear that up. At the moment I have to wipe the windows down with towels so this will be a great solution.In all, this is a nice, compact device and it does well what it’s supposed to do. I will definitely be buying a second one for use downstairs.
