Brilliant textbook for children and adults alike. The Islamic civilization was a golden age for humanity. This book covers over a thousand years of economic, scientific and medical advancements during this era. Vivid colours and illustrations are used to show a range of inventions and discoveries.Whilst vast majority of Europe was plunged in the 'dark ages' the Muslim civilization was flourishing. This part of history is seriously neglected in European education, which is a shame because it was through Islamic Spain (Al Andalusia) that the discoveries and inventions were translated and kicked off the enlightenment era in Europe.

It's a good book for kids however I felt the book forgot who its primary audience is. Think the facts could have been explained in more detail but a lot more simpler. Some of the facts are not interesting for kids.

Can't believe only bought this now.. great book to have in house, easy read for kids and inspiring. My 4 kids love sharing info from it. Great way of giving kids confidence and sharing positivity about their Islamic history.. worth the price!

Really good book with quality pages. Well illustrated and made interesting for children, it was even interesting for some adults that i showed it to. very informative. i was very impressed with the quality. I plan on buying more copies and giving them as a present to the children in my family.
