This is a very strange film about a very unusual saint. This saint is neither a saint nor a hero, but merely an unprincipled young man who robs and seduces for money, under the rather thin excuse that he had an unpleasant childhood as an orphan in China. Didn't we all? Nevertheless, your unsaintly critic managed to suspend his disbelief for a very pleasantly entertaining hour or two, to forget any notion of critical acumen as wholly inapplicable to this wonderfully implausible Hollywood extravaganza, and to sit back and enjoy the ride. Thrill to the beautiful and breathless Elisabeth Shue, the true saint of the story, an impossibly naive scientist who has discovered the secret of how to energise the entire world from a bucket of water! Marvel as she exchanges her virginally white laboratory overall for the seductive leather of the professional spy! Wonder at the villainy of the professional villains, who are about to take over Mother Russia and return it to the days of Ivan the Terrible! Gasp at the variety of disguises of ... Enough. It's a film. I enjoyed it. So will you. And if you don't, the Saint will come and haunt you, in the guise of your old history teacher...

The 90's when action movies were quite bad, great popcorn night movie just don't take it too seriously.The DVD itself is pretty good quality in both the Video and Audio departments.

Not bad an enjoyable watch, not the best film I’ve watched but it’s enjoyable.

I enjoyed this remake of the classic 60s series with Mr Roger Moore, its a good 90s era action comedy suspense film a mixture of everything in it so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

1997 Seems Like Yesterday To Me, Crazy How It's 20 Some Odd Years Ago!!! Anyways, This Film Is Another Gem In Val Kilmer's Career In My Honest Opinion. I've Never Seen/Watched The '60s T.V. Show Starring The Then Before James Bond Career Of Roger Moore. That Being Said This Film Has A Very Nice Blend Of Action, Comedy, Good Guy vs. Evil Guys and a Un-Believable Technology Called Cold Fusion (LMAO), Hope Y'all Find Enjoyment From This Film As Much As Did.

Excellente adaptation de la célèbre série du Saint anciennement joué par Roger Moore et repris avec Brio par Val Kilmer ou une Back story alimente la légende et explique avec justesse (pour moi) le comportement du Saint; on ne s’y ennuie pas devant ce divertissement certes américain mais dans l’esprit de la série britannique !

Iedereen kent of heeft waarschijnlijk gehoord van de gelijknamige televisieserie met wijlen Roger Moore. Let goed op want op het einde van de film is hij te horen als radiopresentator.
