Strong Smell, But not a Bad Scent. Lovely on a Vanity.
Im a huge fan of Anna Suis makeup products and never really ventured into the perfumes. Knowing she's all about the rose I decided to take a leap, especially since the price had gone down to about 11 quid. The perfume packaging itself and the bottle is lovely don't get me wrong. It looks gorgeous on a vanity. The bottle is glass with a pinkish hue, and the peacock on top is plastic. The liquid itself is slightly yellow which makes the bottle as a whole look really cool with the various colors. However the smell is incredibly strong. I think its quite floral yes, but not roses. ALMOST a classic scent, I know Ive walked by a lot of women that smelled like this, in the earlier 2OOOs at least. The smell is warm...you do get some of the musk and amber hence the classicy smell. But I would say the top notes overwhelm any other scent in there that might have eased the strength of it. Online it says Litchi is the top scent along with lemon but I disagree with that as I only wear citrus perfumes like Hugo Boss Orange and CK In2U. You need to use it really sparingly, which only means it goes a long way if you happen to like the smell. Its like Chanel 5, in that either you love it and drench yourself in it or can't stand the smell. If you get headaches from perfume like me then maybe go for something else more subtle.Other than that delivery was quick on prime. Would make a lovely gift for anyone. Beautiful Metallic pink and yellow packaging, inside and out.
