Best and softest value cotton fabric I've ever bought
I used to buy super soft USA Calico for my embroidery students, but this tops it all. It's very soft and natural in colour and fantastic to stitch and embroider on to. And it's 2/3rds of the price of USA Calico. Great quality fabric and I shall be buying more.I have recently ordered another 3 metres and it's a very different fabric to that received in March. This is more like a light to medium weight calico and no where near as soft as the first batch. It's acceptable as a calico product and I will keep and use it for other things , but it's not really what I was expecting for fine embroidery . Just saying

Good value fabric, lightweight but durable!
Good quality fabric, with a tight enough weave that there was little to no fraying at the edges. It came folded, with a slight chemical smell, but a quick go in the wash got rid of that, and after pressing it it was delightfully smooth! The fabric is thin, but as I am using it for making a historical shift, I didn’t find that to be a problem. It would also work well for embroidery, or other lightweight clothing items.

not clothing quality
I would call this fabric calico. It is fine as a lining material but I needed it for an underskirt so it was too dark and has darker specks through it.

Better quality than expected
Really nice fabric. Perfect weave (no nubs or gaps) and more substantial handling than expected. I have downrated 'light weight' (which is a pretty strange feature) because it is nicely heavier than that and will handle really well during cutting and sewing. I don't expect it to slacken off until washed; this is ideal for my purposes. Great price (better than 60% of competitors) and immediate dispatch and delivery ahead of schedule. Recommend good for many furnishing uses, cushion linings, curtain lining and so on.

Quality in the name, Quality definitely in the product
I’ve been meaning to compliment this company. I cannot stress the standard of quality of this company’s product, is second to none. Great value for money. Excellent service and delivery always prompt and well packaged. As an artist who paints, I need cotton and linen and it’s difficult to find a quality surface that supports oils and acrylic paints. The material holds the paints firmly, allows you to be versatile and energetic. The strength of the material is super. Thank you for the quality and the service. I recommend the company and advise anyone that needs assistance or guidance, call them email them they’re very very good.

Looks to be really good quality.
Haven't actually used the material yet but it looks to be very good quality for the price. As another reviewer has said it has got a slight yellow tone to it but a nice colour all the same. I will be using it for backing quilting projects and the like so it will be ideal. Will definitely be back for more in the future.

Very good quality.
Had to wait longer than expected for this but seems the first one must have gotten lost in the post. Contacted the seller who was very good and sent a replacement. When it did arrive, I was very pleased with it. It is a little thicker than I expected and seems very good quality. I look forward to using it on on sewing projects.

Ok - but a bit rustic and fairly coarse
Bought this fabric to embroider on - some reviews said it was suitable for this and others said not.I wouldn't use it for something you would spend hours on and want to be seen close up, as the piece I received was covered in tiny brown flecks (not visable in sellers photo). Emailed the seller over 2 weeks ago for a replacement, but no reply. It's ok for embroidery if your stitches will cover the whole fabric or if you don't mind a slightly rustic look to your work. I've managed to make good use of it. Mostly by stitching a design, fraying the edges - which it does easily - and attaching it to cards or gift tags. So, in fairness, I've updated this review (a year on) with a 4 star rating.
