Great bookcase
Great product. It’s really beautiful. It was easy to put together, although it came with the wrong set of screws. I needed to go to the local hardware store, as it seemed quicker than contacting the company (CA, USA based) for new ones. I will fix it to the wall soon as we settled on it’s location, as I feel like my 2-year old could pull it down if he pulled on it. Overall, I’m very pleased with it!

Don't be put off by other review!! We love it!!
I bought this bookcase even though the one review it does have is very poor. I just hoped for the best!!I have to say I'm impressed, lovely & colorful, very bright and just the right size for my 3 year old. I would have no problems recommending this item at all. Yes it is rather expensive but it's good quality and I would say worth eveypenny.

Disappointing
This 'hand painted' bookcase is actually a few dollops of paint, messily applied to a printed design. The print is also badly applied. It looks terrible. Having just kitted out my children's rooms in our new house, I became pretty good at assembling flat pack furniture but the instructions on this and other Teamson products were hard to follow and the screws etc. are poor quality. I sent it back for a replacement, assuming, as they are 'hand made' that I simply had bad luck. The seller told me "they are all like that" and so I asked for a refund.
