Baby to Toddler Month By Month

Great guide, well-written and helpful
This was such a handy guide, and I was so relieved to find it, as I found their previous book (Your Baby Week By Week) extremely helpful and very accurate, but unfortunately it ended somewhat abruptly at Week 24 (6 months), and I'd been relying on it quite heavily!!I love their style of writing - I never feel under pressure if my little one doesn't start doing certain things when other books say she should be, and the gentle guidance and tips that they provide are an absolute god-send for me as a first time mum. The structure of each chapter is very well thought out (each month they give details on what to expect in terms of feeding, sleep, development, health, what's happening to mum & dad, when to call the doctor etc).I think this book would also work well not only for first time mums, but also parents having their second or even third child. It's so easy to use and you can just flick to the section of the book that is relevant to your little one's stage of development.

A must-have read!
I had the Week by Week book by the same authors, being a first time mum it was kind of a lifeline. So I had to get the follow on!It’s more of the same goodness! The authors write in a way that is non-judgemental, just friendly advice and what is great is “when to worry” sections - meaning you know when not to worry! The month by month thing is great because let’s face it, when you have a 6 month old who has time to read a whole book! But I can just read a chapter at a time or look something up when I need to.Thoroughly recommend and would say it’s a must have for any mum with 6-24 months olds.

Helpful advice
Reassuring and simple to read, a checklist of milestones was nice. Would have liked more info for each month by month stage, could only dip in and out, not a book to sit and read for an hour

Would not have survived without it. Baby user manual!
I lived by this book but especially the first book, you’re baby week by week. I’ve also bought this as a gift for friends and have recommended to all my expecting friends. It’s really a life saver, especially if your UK based as it’s really relevant. A must for all new parents everywhere.

I absolutely love this book!
I absolutely love this book! I'm a first time mama living in London, so reading a book by authors who are based in the UK was really good first of all because sometimes they discuss certain things that refers to the UK like hospitals, midwifes, medicines etc. I first bought their Week to Week book and loved it so much I had to continue with the Month by Month book, and now that my daughter is 2 and half we have their Potty Training for Girls book too. I just found it so easy and quick to read. So easy to follow. I bought my copy on Kindle so I was able to highlight and save sections I thought were really helpful. You don't have to read the entire book either, lets face it nobody with kids has time to do anything never mind sitting and reading an entire book, so this was brilliant - going from chapter to chapter.I highly recommend and have recommended these books. My sister and a close friend also bought their books. You can use it at your leisure and a lose guide or you can use it as your baby bible. Either way these ladies (in my opinion) know what they're taking about!

Extremely useful book
This book, like its prequel, is fantastic! It covers so much and is easy to pick up and read in bite size chunks - very handy when you have a toddler running around. It’s style is more akin to a friend offering advice than the prescriptive style of other baby ‘manuals’ but also highlights matters of concern to look out for that may need more urgent action.

Super hilfreich

Recommended to all new Mums / Mums to be
I love this book. I moved on from the ‘first 6 months’ version to this one because again, like with the first 6 months, it’s clear and concise! I didn’t want a book that was going to take me a long time to read. These quick chapters are just what I need. I’ve recommended this book to all new Mums/Mums to be.

Used twice
Used with both kids. Love for facts! Not overly opinionated! Always liked to look ahead and back for reference. Highly suggest.
