Place cellophane on to jam jars immediately after filling. Secure with rubber band. Rub across cellophane with moist finger & pull taught until not creased. Cellophane will become as ‘Tight as a drum’ & seal the jam. Quality product!!!!!! Best I’ve had in all the years of making jam!!!!

As always Lakeland products are of excellent quality. I only have one other comment. The packaging is good, once you discover the reopening end is at the bottom! However, the packaging is VERY tight making it difficult to get the items back in and I do not make 100 pots of jam in one go. I would appreciate a slightly looser fit. This is a very minor point as the product itself is first rate.

We make a lot of jam and chutney and this year have had a glut of fruit so have been very busy (201 jars so far…) This pack of waxed grease proof vinegar seals and cellophane toppers has been amazing. Some companies have started to substitute polythene for cellophane which in my opinion isn’t as effective. I will definitely be buying these again next year. Great product!
