A fun, sweary book that has plenty of suitable-for-beginner projects, and also includes some alphabets so you can do your own designs. It's very American, so not all of the sayings work for an international audience, but there are plenty that will be pretty universal.

This is a brilliant book with easy-to-follow and uncomplicated patterns. The many designs present in the book, along with additional alphabets in the back section allow you to either follow the design, or make it your own. I had never cross-stitched before buying this book but am now producing choice swear words in hearts, flowers, and alone. The authors sense of humour is well appreciated

Very pleased with this book. I have used the Subversive website in the past and bought kits and pdf patterns, but the delivery costs from the US are high - so I ordered the book from Amazon.Some good patterns for cards and a very useful set of alphabets at the end so you can personalize your creations.Not for the easily offended, but some funny little pieces.If you're not sure if this is for you I would recommend visiting the Subversive Cross Stitch website so you can see if the humour is your type of thing.

The patterns in this book are quite rude so if you are easily offended this is not the book for you.I personally really like the patterns and think they are a fun modern take on cross stitch, they are easy to follow and the finished product looks great and is even suitable for beginners.The book is also great value for money with the amount of patterns available.

More for American market I think but easily adapted
