LOCK LACES - Elastic No Tie Shoelaces, One Size Fits All

These shoes initially came with a pair of drawstring laces. I didn’t like them because they were non elasticated and because they were the same colour as the shoe. These lock laces added a great pop-up colour and contrast, feel great to wear and work extremely well.Almost certainly a great addition to any lightweight training shoe, and certainly very suitable for anybody wearing any type of Vivobarefoot shoe from the Primus family! The shoes in the image are the Primus Trails, and I think these new laces are a perfect pairing 😁

These are a game-changer. I previously had to purchase more expensive slip-on trainers, due to a disability making it difficult to reach one foot to tie laces. Came across these and gave them a go. They work perfectly and actually make the trainer feel more comfortable. Very easy to follow instructions. Highly recommended.

I bought these because I have a problem with acid reflux and therefore, bending double to reach my feet can have unfortunate consequences! However, once installed and fixed, I find I still have to do approximately the same amount of bending to loosen, put my foot in, then re-tighten these ties. Perhaps this will improve as I get to know them better and any advice from fellow sufferers/users of elasticated laces would be greatly appreciated. Therefore, so far the jury is out. I haven't had them long enough, really, to give them a proper assessment - I usually wait at least three months before doing so.

Really easy to lace and adjust. The instruction video made it simple.You do need strong fingers to snap the lace toggle together.So easy to slip my boots on, adjust and no worries about laces coming undone.

Work just as described, easy to put on the trainer and can be shortened easily. They are also easy to adjust if necessary once on the shoe.

Pros's:Easy to install.Makes slipping the boots on and off much easier than using laces.Seem pretty strong.Cons:Not as tight as laces.You'll need to pull them so tight when putting them on that they won't slip off easily so you'll have to undo the toggle each time you take the boots off.Because you need to pull them so tight you'll need to leave enough slack on the ends to be able to loosen them off to take the boots off so you have to find a solution to tidying up the long amount of excess lace. I personally jam it down inside the boot but this can be uncomfortable and they do pop out sometimes while walking.Would I buy them again? Yes.

I've had a few pairs of these and they work well.
