Great for matted coats.
I rescued two golden retrievers.When I got the boys home I noticed they both had extremely matted coats especially behind their ears.Poor Olly's was terrible.I tried brushing sent them to groomer but boys wouldn't let groomer touch their ears.I thought here we go expensive vet bill.Saw this tool so as a last ditch attempt I ordered one.I tell you what I'm so glad I did.Olly's fur was so matted that his skin was being pulled.Use this rake gentle took around and hour per ear but it worked.I was amazed and Olly seems so much happier.It really does de-shed animals coats.Both boys fur also looks more shiney too.Best money I've ever spent.

Great pet grooming comb
Someone recommended this and after trying many different combs and brushes for mover long haired dog, thought I might try it. My dog has a very thick undercoat which was almost impossible together to. This comb easily got through and lots of people were saying what a beautiful coat my dog had. Excellent purchase.

Solidly constructed
It is OK but does not cut through knots and will pull heavily matted hair. More suitable for maintenance grooming.It is of excellent, sturdy construction.

So much hair in so little time
I have a gsd. This gets rid of so much hair so quickly. Be careful how you use it so not to hurt the dog, but use it once a week and you'll see amazing benefits.
