AngelusAngelus Leather Dye Jet Black

I rarely leave reviews but I am so impressed with this product. I had my old baby changing bag knocking about for the last 16 years. The leather was lovely and it had sentimental value, but being bright pink I knew I’d never go out in public with it again. I bought two bottles of this dye thinking that if it didn’t work I’d be no worse off. It took one bottle to do two good coats on the bag, and I had enough left over to transform an ugly old belt as well. Now the bag is used daily with no signs of dye transfer, flaking etc. Very pleased with the results!

I wiped the shoe over with cotton wool soaked in nail varnish leaving the shoe matt. Dipped the wool dauber in the dye & wiped it over the shoe once. It dries matt quickly. After about 10 minutes I put black shoe polish on & rubbed to a slight sheen.Quick easy & extremely effective… New shoes in an instant…..From one airline to another!!!

Good colour match... works best with a couple light coats.

Just started using Angelus dyes on guitars. Just as it says, it's jet black after a couple of coats. Nice dyes and work well for what i want it for. Also had Purple and blue ones which look fantastic but dilute them a bit to get the strength of colour you want with a neutral (clear) which angelus do as well. Very pleased.

Easily and neatly covered my brown shoes with the jet black dye. Also no visible overlap marks. It looks really good and you can’t tell that the shoes have been ‘painted’.It’s thin and spreads well. A little goes a long way.

Brilliant and so easy to use. Had a pair knee length tan colour boots sitting in wardrobe decided they needed more use……Black was the answer! Two bottles was all it needed to successfully give them two coats each. After drying fully for a day. Used a layer of shoe wax, a good brush & polish and they came up perfect. First day wearing got caught in tremendous downpour not a touch of colour loss or colour run. Would throughly recommend. Thank you

I bought this product to restore a well worn shabby pair of leather slippers. I followed the simple instructions, used two coats and the slippers now look like new. Additionally because a small amount goes a long way I have enough for future use.

Soaks in well to the Boost material on adidas shoes. I've been using them for 6 months now and have no sign of it wearing off. Leaves a very slight purple hue when seen in light but not a big deal.
