Blade made from corrosion-resistant 32-layer damask steel. It is embellished with a handhammered Surface which in Japan is known as Tsuchime, thus combining timeless aesthetic qualities with ultimate sharpness. The blades have a massive core of VG-10 steel with a hardness of 61 +- 1 HRC. feel very good in the hand
Very light, feel very good in the hand, good cutting edge. The etching of the Damascus blade does look a little "mass produced" looks like a pressed pattern rather than colouration differential as with truly handmade damascus steel knives. That said they are more than comparable to Global knives I own.
