Must have in all the kitchens
Great packaging, amazing taste. Mavi's is one of the most authentic fermented food company pan India. Kimchi and Saurkraut - rich in probiotics that promote a healthy gut flora. Additionally they contain fiber, vitamins C and K, and antioxidants. Normally I use them as a topping, filling for Snadwiches, or sometimes even as a side dish and has a great tangy, zesty flavor. Would recommend it to all.

HORRIBLE FLAVOUR- Far from authentic Sauerkraut taste
The Ajwain (Bishop's seeds) added has made the flavour so horribly altered it does not taste anything like sauerkraut. Might as well call it cabbage Aachar (pickle). I've had many Indian made and Imported sauerkrauts which all have similarity in taste and I've enjoyed all of them. This however I had to discard from mouth the one bite I tasted.

Worth it only if you fall for the taste of Indianized kraut
Tastes nice, but not like authentic sauerkraut. Maybe because of the ajwain. Pricey too, for the small quantity.

Unbelievably high salt content
This product has unbelievably high salt content, this would cause harm to even healthy people let alone people with health issues. There is no mention of Sodium content and I think it has been conveniently left out for a reason. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Very poor quality
The sauerkraut was not matured.. The cabbages were of bad quality & tough and also badly pieced.. third class product..
