Bought it for my grandchildren, their parents read it as children. Good to read, uplifting and encouraging.

These books were edited for 7 to 12 year olds to read easily. Give "Gifted Hands" away to every child. I have my 8 year old great-grandson reading this book to me, out loud, for a commission of $15. This is a great vehicle to hopefully see him develop a love for reading. Thank you Dr. Carson for writing this book and thank you to Amazon for giving a platform for this book to be bouggt and shared for generations to come.

I love this book you should definitely read it! This book tells the story of a young poor boy who works hard and has faith in God. He may go through many struggles in his life but it all lead to something better. In this book you will learn how he came from a “class dummy” to a very smart and intelligent pediatric by having faith in God and working hard! You definitely should buy!! Great book!

Shows the true power of an awesome God and how 1 person with 1 dream with 1 change can inspire the entire world.Dr. Ben Carson I met you years ago ... and it was my pleasure. You have remained the same soft spoken inspirational person throughout the years.May God continue to bless you, your family and every single thing you set your hands to.Thank you for sharing your story. Arrived fast. Book in new condition

Gifted Hands was the first "grown up" book that I read a long time ago. Not going to say how long ago, but it's been a while. My grandmother gave it to me to read while staying with her during the summer. Fast forward to today, and I am reading this (kids version) book to the groups of 5th graders that I see each week. Every day I read the same 3 chapters to whichever class is in my rotation. I read while they do their typing lessons. It has been amazing. They are captivated. The first thing they ask when they come into my classroom is, "Are you reading the book today?" I am happy to share all the knowledge, insight, victories, and life lessons of Dr. Carson with my students.
