I am an engineer and I have ordered two of these products already, and both have come in broken. They are not built well at all!!! I do not recommend you taking the risk with this product. They still have to work out a lot of manufacturing details with their hardware.

I own a Solidoodle Workbench and I love it. You may need to tune your printer a bit when it first arrives; however if you are technically savvy enough to know what WD-40 is, and perhaps know your way around a hex wrench, you are good to go. I had an UP! Plus2 printer before, and I find Solidoodle even more accessible than the super nice UP! printers. I recommend that you get the largest print volume as possible, and Solidoodle printers provide that with great build quality. My UP! printer is more expensive, but I see Solidoodle Workbench as an upgrade.Get one, start with printing objects from thingiverse to learn your way around 3D printing, then go on to designing things of your imagination.

We bought this 3D printer. Waited 8 months for the unit and it worked one time. Technical support is non existent. We were told to read the troubleshooting which was worthless. I emailed to return the unit and they will not respond. Worthless!

Recived broken unit. After a year they are still " having problems" with my refund. Glass bed is held on with binder clips and 3d printed parts were falling apart
