Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament: Coded with Strong's Concordance

Very comprehensive and solidly referenced
Love this book as an additional reference to defining the meaning of scripture. I can't say that the super small print is easy to read, and I haven't managed to grasp what some of the abbreviations to third party references actually mean (hence 4 stars), but aside from that, this is a super source of data to keep in your study-armory!

Greek English Lexicon
The standard by which all others will be judged - and what a labour of love it was! My old (large, heavy and very much used) 1886 version is falling apart at the seams so a smaller, lighter copy was very much in order. For the price, this book offers fantastic value for money - and a much more convenient size and weight for general use.The print quality of this modern copy can't match the original crystal clear type but it's perfectly readable. I'm delighted this book is available at a very reasonable price for modern students - an exercise in Germanic thoroughness!

Thayer's Greek Lexicon
Thayer is the classic in Greek lexicons now over a century old (first published in 1885) but none the less 'the' starting point for Biblical exegesis. For those like me who's Greek is somewhat rusty you are helped by the 'Strong's' numbering system that cross references Greek words also helpful, but sometimes limited cross reference to the LXX Old Testament so you can start work through some of the Hebrew too though you will need Brown Driver & Briggs for that one The Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew-English Lexicon . You won't go wrong with Thayer.
