You never know, when you order "foil" origami paper you've never used, whether it's actually foil. Sometimes it's metallic plastic. And I personally use foil for its sculptural properties, not its looks. Foil holds its shape without the rigmarole of wetting and clamping and waiting. This paper has beautiful colors, holds its shape even in intricate models, and as a bonus, it's not so aggressively shiny as most foil paper - I'd put this somewhere between a satin and a semigloss. The color does rub off a tiny bit if you manhandle it, but not as badly as a lot of foils. The paper has a bit of weight to it. It's about like posh wrapping paper, maybe 50% thicker than your standard non-foil cheap origami paper. It's nice to fold without being so thick that you can't get it creased when it layers up.I see that other customers had trouble with the cuts not being square, but these were cut completely true. Perhaps they've fixed the problem.

The positive is that the colors are absolutely beautiful. I have been doing origami for years and purchased these for my upcoming wedding that has a 1000 origami crane theme. Unfortunately, when I went to fold these colors, the papers were cut unevenly. I am very unhappy with this. I tested multiple of them and they were all uneven.

It came on time and undamaged, but was unfortunately hard to fold.This is probably not their fault because it is double sided foil origami paper which is among the trickiest to try to fold, but I would say though it is indeed GORGEOUS and SHINY in lovely colors, only experienced/advanced folders should try this stuff for projects, it would add gorgeousness too, but beginners beware.

Beautiful origami paper. I folded it into butterflies and pinned it to a photo backdrop. Was hoping to buy more, but it is out of stock right now.

Unevenly cut so I had to recut each piece. Nothing sticks to this paper and it's hard to fold with.

Beautiful. Easy to fold into origami figures, just have to be careful how hard you fold. But worth the money

Oragami Christmas trees and Christmas stars. They were beautiful. :)

Hard to work with, didn't really like it. But that might be more of a me problem.
