I'm new to road bikes, went out on my first journey in regular sports shorts - excuse the pun... but what a pain in the arse. The next day it was too sore to ride the same distance therefore I started shopping online at cycling stores and amazon for padded shorts. I'm pretty meticulous on looking around reviews etc for each product I buy. These were heavily reviewed, and for good reason! They are brilliant. Fantastic quality. I'm not into all the lycra stuff, personal preference, so I wear them under my normal sports shorts - you wouldn't even know they are on, therefore you can happily get off your bike and walk around cafes etc without any bother or people thinking you've soiled yourself. I saw mixed reviews on the sizing. I ordered a medium, I'm 5ft 9in with normally a 30-32 inch waist, these fit perfectly and are certainly not larger or looser fitting as some reviews mention, they are tight round the leg and perfectly suited to the waist. No more sore bum after a few 4+ hour rides. Padding is brilliant, can now ride for hours with no pain at all - there is a good amount of padding but you soon forget its there when riding. Also they're great when sitting on benches or solid surfaces as it feels like your on a cushion. All in all brilliant purchase. A must if you plan on road biking.

Slightly saggy fit and pad thing can shift position slightly, but generally pleased with function and really helps cushion my boney old backside. Didn't suffer the usual pain after a 5 mile ride.

Delighted with purchase. Used on home spin bike. Very comfortable. Ideal as under shorts if outside cycling.

I purchased these to add some comfort to my spinning glasses. Unfortunately the lost cost of these means there are some compromises and the quality and features demonstrate this. Personally I found them quite uncomfortable.

Decent quality shorts with a brilliant pad. I ride 8 - 10 hours a week, these shorts are very ar5e freindly. I now have 3 pair, a bargain.

Only worn them once on a short ride roughly 2 hours in the saddle. Felt comfortable.

Just the job to wear anything you want on the bike, at a great price.
