Worked well on many different terrains
I've used the Manbily Monopod only as a monopod, not as a walking stick, I'm not sure it's really sturdy enough to be used for the latter. But as a monopod for my Ricoh Theta S camera, the Manbily has been excellent. I've used it on numerous mountain hikes now, including a trek to the summit of Mount Olympus in Greece. The ball joint on the mounting foot allows some angling to keep the monopod sticking straight up. When on doubtful rocky terrain, a few rocks placed over the feet have stopped the monopod from falling over. Though in strong winds it will sway. Likewise on soft, springy forest floors, a few rocks on the feet are also useful.I've also discovered that it is possible to assemble the monopod with the shaft upside down, i.e. handle area towards the base. This makes the Manbily more stable as the heavier section is lower down. With the thinner end to the 360 camera, there is less monopod in the nadir area.

Good for 12 months
Small enough to take everywhere. With the feet- it will support my Canon6D with 24mm lens to do long exposure. Used as mono pod, it works well to steady my 70-300mm lens. I like the design, works well for me.Edited: after 12 months of weekly use (lets say 52 days out) it has fallen apart. Completely.

More than happy. Would buy again.
Thought would try this, cheap and hey ho. Love it, sturdy, robust, welĺ made, solid, pivot point at feet, would swap for top end brand.

Unfit for purpose...
Great look and price... However unfit for purpose. Legs are far too short and locking method just isn't well conceived with balance hugely unstable. Beware your camera as it wont be safe and spend a bit more on a better designed product.
