Good quality kitchen safety matches.
Can no longer buy ordinary cooks' safety matches in any local supermarket. I don't want extra-long and definitely don't want Swan Vestas! These are sensibly sized safety matches, plenty of them, and they work beautifully for lighting the gas - no more blazing match heads flying round the kitchen. Really, was that so hard?

Useless at staying alight
These aren’t up to the job. The matches usually flicker out as soon as they’ve ignited, unless held virtually upside down after lighting. Wouldn’t buy them again.

Not jumbo at all!
These matches are very small even though they are described as 'jumbo'. I was disappointed, but other than the size they are fine.
