It does the job
Why did you choose this product over others?:Not the most pleasantly-scented, but it felt like the toys were cleaner afterwards. Used on soft toys with no residue or marks.

Quick and effective
Very handy to not have to wait ages for items to be sterilised. With toys we need quick and effective cleaning so this is good for general cleans.

Fab!
Such a great spray! Smells like a swimming pool haha but peace of mind for all my baby's toys. Quick wipe and no need for boiling the kettle to clean etc.

Gentle disinfectant
I can't really test the disinfectant properties short of getting petri dishes and swabs, so that aspect has to be taken on trust. The bottle has a good spray head, the solution itself whilst it doesn't contains harsh chemicals like bleach does have a bit of a bleachy scent to it, though not anywhere near as strong as you would get from other products. There's nothing magical, new or radical about this spray - the active ingredient is hypochlorous acid, a well known disinfectant, which is what chlorine forms in water, and exactly like what you get in swimming pools. From reading the labelling on the back, the contents of this would appear to be identical to another product by this Dew company simply called "Disinfectant Spray" - the labelling here "Toy Cleaner and Surface Antibacterial" seems like simply marketing aimed at parents with young children while slapping an extra quid on the price.

Stellar!
I came across this brand at the Range, but found this toy cleaner here and thought I would try it for my purse. Really nice to use on my work space and when in public. No discernable strong smell. Haven't had any one object to using it either. Items felt clean and safe to use.

Amazing safe disinfectant for people and things
There is no bleach in Hypochlorous acid products despite the smell. The smell is because the chemistry is related but chlorine - sodium hypochlorite NaOCl - is caustic and dangerous whereas Hypochlorous acid HOCL is skin friendly. Bleach shifts the grime because it is caustic. Hypochlorous acid won't do that - it's for surfaces and skin. Boots sell a version for babies but it is only 30 ppm the lowest effective concentration. This one is probably about 100ppm? Products should really tell us.I've sprayed it on the mold that collects on a damp window and it kills it.You can spray this one on cuts or wounds too. The Boots one I spray on my closed eyes and sometimes teeth and tongue. I would use this one if I knew its ppm. Currently using it for kitchen tops. Why isn't it more well known? Just advertising or the lack of and a superstitious reaction to the slight smell of chlorine. it should be used in hospitals as you can spray it directly onto patients!
