A Bedtime Kiss for Chester Raccoon (The Kissing Hand Series) Board book – Picture Book, July 26, 2011

I have this book and bought another copy for a friend whose child was having a hard time transitioning from Kindergarten to First grade. It was a hit for them, just like it was for my child when they started "big kids" school. Such a sweet and endearing message. Helps parents too!

I have used this book when I taught preschool and now enjoy giving it as a gift whether you are 1 year old or 7 years old. The child can identify with Chester and know that he/she is loved and not forgotten by his/her parent just by looking at the kiss that mom left on his hand. It is a very 'warm' and touching story. It is especially comforting to those who might be going off to day care for the first time.

My kid is in play based therapy and I mentioned that separations can be challenging. She recommended this adorable book. I’ve gotten a few in the series and now recommend to parents of students

I read this story to my four children when they were little. Now my 30-year old son is expecting my first grandson! I purchased this book for them.

Good sturdy book, sweet little graphics! Smaller in size than I expected but as it turns out that is a good thing as it’s easier for children to hold than a larger book. Pages are made of hard board so I think that will help the book last longer and endure heavier play. Precious story of raccoon going to school and carrying his parent’s kiss with him in his hand…definitely teary eyed after reading:)

I ordered 5 books and a couple came with dents on the edges, otherwise a cute book!

This is one of my FAVORITE books to give working Moms at their Baby Shower. I loved reading this book to my own kids and they loved reading along with me.

They call the mommy (Mrs. Raccoon). Makes my son think it’s a teacher and the teacher is to kiss the kids hand lol I just call it mommy raccoon

Bought it at the time when we're joining our son in his first playschool. This book has exactly the same content what we're looking for. Makes the child understand that going to school is fun and also, he can see his parents immediately after the school and that they're in safe hands all the time. Just buy it in any case.

Livro lindo, doce, bem escrito. Um clássico para guardar e passar por gerações, até chorei quando li a primeira vez para meu filho.
