Great entry level telescope but instructions are hopeless...
Instructions were appalling! Had to use pictures on the box to work it out. Nothing on how or why to use the lenses or even what the different lenses did etc. Had they got that simple, pictorial and word part right, I would have given 5 stars

Not great
Doesnt really focus really well. Bit of a clumsy piece of kit.

let down by poor instructions
This was purchased for me as a Christmas present. I've no doubt technically is a good telescope but so far it has been a struggle to use. The instructions and manual are very difficult to follow (I recommend watching the video on the Meade website first). The photographs are poor quality and its hard to see which numbered part is where; and sometimes confusing for example if refers to focus knobs (31) but these are in a completely different place by the eyepiece. You switch off the red dot viewfinder by turning the knob clockwise, contrary to the instruction manual. My other observation as a beginner is that the telescope is very heavy to move to an outside position, even when detaching from the tripod. Having moved it outside, I then had to rebalance and align it all over again. So unless I'm missing something, I'm not sure how practical this telescope is unless you can leave it a permanent position. A final group is that the DVD software doesn't work on a Mac - this is pretty poor given the ubiquity of Mac computers. There's not much on the Meade website either other than the instructional video (tip: slow down the playback speed as the voiceover speaks very quickly and with poor diction).

A éviter
Zhumell Z8?

Un telescopio di buona qualità
Telescopio meade 130 polaris arrivato ottimamente imballato e in condizioni perfette. Molto contenta.
