This has been a tough lighter. You can charge it with a regular USB, light weight, and hold its charge for days. This is an electric lighter that charges fast with a bright torch, handy for checking small areas. The design is tough, water proof when the clasp is on. The lanyard holds a whistle too.

Well made, good value. Nice and rugged - a novelty when someone asks me for a light.

I like the usefulness of the item. It's waterproof and the torch is decent. I can light candles with the lighter and I like the fact that the lighter is extendable, very useful for reaching into smaller spaces. I don't smoke but I am sure that you could light a cigarette with this lighter. The battery is still on its first charge so I can't comment on its longevity but I have a good feeling that it will last well. The indicator lights show it's still on a full charge, another useful feature. The only negative is that when the lighter is open, only the lighter should work but sometimes the torch operates instead. Closing and re opening seems to reset it back to lighter again. No big deal but that was the reason it lost one star. I might buy a second one though to keep in a rucksack. It certainly wouldn't take up too much space. Recommended.

Good Size, works really well and you can extend the length of the lighter for all sorts of candles and no chance of it blowing out, just need to make sure it's charged up and it's good to go.

Great survival tool, will rugged, stylish appearance. Light weight. Not too big, but not exactly dinky either. It produces a small, very hot and concentrated beam, which has to essentially be touching the subject in order to light it, but light it does. Very quick for lighting virtually anything. Will taze you if it comes into contact with skin (speaking from experience), but not enough to seriously harm you. I see that as a bonus.

Excellent lighter despite the safety lock which isn't a one hand job. Torch is bright and has a couple of brightnesses and a strobe. Comes with a lanyard with in built whistle. Battery level is shown by leds in the lighter function which does timeout after a few seconds - just close the lid and open again to switch back on.
