Five Stars
Nice medium point, smooth ink flow. Wash/rinse before use to get rid of manufacturer oil/residue.

Like the look and the weight
Like the look and the weight, but ink flow is terrible. Needs some nib splitting and bending to make ink flowing consistently.

Ink flow is terrible.
Is a pain in the neck to during ink refill process. The body do not stay well attached to the head. Ink flow is terrible.

Fountain Pen
In general I was satisfied with the pen. It was a little larger than I anticipated, But I like the pen. Delivery of it was faster than I thought too.

Cool looking but ehhh...
The pen came in and it seemed great I bought ink for it wrote a few words with it, very great with writing. Put it away for about an hour and wanted to write more and poof ink was all over the place spilling every where. Might just be the ink but still terrible when ink gets on white clothes.

Noblest Black Golden Cap - quite a pleasant surprise for the price...
I have to say that I am hugely impressed with this pen - especially when put into the context that it only cost just over £10. It is well constructed and has a nice weighty feel to it (much more than I was expecting). It is well balanced in the hand when writing and it is quite a pleasure for the cap to remain on the pen when I am writing - something even my Cross fountain pen fails to achieve without a sturdy shove! It writes well - there is a good even ink flow and the nib is, as described, a medium and writes smoothly too (no evidence of any scratching on the first few times of using it. All in all, I'm hugely impressed, bearing in mind - as I said at the start - how little I paid for the pen.

Amazingly good for the price
Incredibly good quality for the price. A solid feel and writes well and as with most nibs should improve as it wears to my style. Very attractive 'old fashioned' looking pen. I have used fountain pens for over 50 years and have several from various manufacturers at all sorts of cost price. This pen punches well above it's weight when compared with the more expensive competitors. It is quite heavy when posted but sits reassuringly in the hand. Tight 'click' cap. Excellent value. Buy this with confidence and be surprised with its quality and feel. Arrived well before the due date.

Good product
I've had a pleasant surprise with this one, basically bought it without thinking a lot and I've ended up with a little gem. It's not the best quality on overall craftsmanship (the black cover will peel in time), but the writing experience is great. No complaints, does what it's supposed to do.

Is what it is.
I was so close to sending this pen back as it took almost 2 hours to get the ink to flow through it. It takes either the short cartridges (Not Parker) or the supplied piston filler (which I'm not a fan of).The pen 'is what it is' for the money...it will never be a Parker or high-end brand, but for fountain pen users and lovers it makes a nice 2nd or even 3rd pen to have in your collection.Ink flow is average depending on what surface it's being used on as with most pens - but I found it below par when compared to more expensive pens as one would expect.Although it looks nice, it has quite a low quality plastic feel to it, and I found the grip to be too smooth for my liking - especially as it's quite a weighty pen as other reviews have mentioned. To sum up - if you're not used to using a fountain pen, you may find this a little awkward due to the weight and writing angle. If you are used to using these pens, you will probably be happy with it (once you get it to finally work - try wetting the top of the nib as I found this helped).Bought this as a replacement for my Parker GT fountain pen which I loved until it went AWOL.

I don't normally like to write bad reviews
I don't normally like to write bad reviews, but when this arrived I found myself wishing I hadn't purchased it almost immediately. The screw on cap was actually not a screw on cap, the ink filler pulls apart and leaks, the ink flow is irregular and it leaks. All this was ascertained within the first hour and sadly by the second hour it was given a new home in the bin. I like a good fountain pen, I've used them for years, but this I fear was not a good fountain pen, it was disappointing. Based on the other reviews I would assume that perhaps some batches of this pen are better than others, needless to say the one I received was not one of those.
