Ultimate Dot to Dot: Extreme Puzzle Challenges to Complete and Colour: 1 Paperback – 3 Mar. 2016

This book is absolutely amazing. I have almost finished all of the pictures and I'm so disappointed that it's coming to an end. On one hand I want to do them all in one sitting but on the other hand I want to savour this book. I have begun my search to find another book similar to this one.I have another dot to dot book which I do in pencil and I found it quite impressive that the numbers went up to over 300/400 dots, but then this book arrives and it's over 1000 dots per picture. Absolutely amazing. The pictures are fun to do and the detail just makes them each beautiful in their individual way. The most fun is doing it with my different colour pens.Some minor issues I found with the book. Mainly it's that some of the numbers can be difficult to find. It's not like a normal dot to dot book where your pencil just follows the number from 1- such and such. For example you will draw from 1-95 and then stop. Then you have to search for 96 and when there are over 1000 dots it can be pretty tough finding them. In some cases I just went by colour rather than numbers. Secondly some of the dots can get quite confusing, too many dots by a number and sometimes I ended up picking the wrong dot or getting confused BUT the great thing about it is that even if you do mess up the dots slightly you barely realise. There's so much detail in each picture that a wrong line doesn't even look slightly out of place.I really do recommend this book, especially for someone who enjoys challenges. Make no mistake, this is not some easy kid-like dot to dot book. It is incredibly challenging but in a very fun way.Hope this review has helped :)

This book is an innovative mix of adult colouring and dot to dot. It's much trickier than expected!The book is sketch pad size, with a picture puzzle per page to complete and colour. The paper quality is good and there's very little seepage through the paper even using gel pens. The dot to dot bit is intriguing and requires concentration. There are literally thousands of numbers to connect and they're very small, so you may require good light to follow them. Also, in a couple I've started, you need to complete in sections; a sequence of numbers makes a particular part of the picture to colour and the next number in sequence is in another area of the picture. It's more fun than I thought it would be and is surprisingly relaxing. Plenty to keep you occupied and I was engrossed.

I have had a few dot to dot books for adults but this book eclipses the others. I love the use of colours for different aspects of the pictures. There is a good mix of pictures and patterns to join the dots up to create and they range from fairly straightforward to complicated. I'm finding it very enjoyable and am not looking forward to getting to the end and having to find a similar replacement.

Relaxing to do and surprisingly addicting !Definitely good value for money

If you are a fan of Dot to Dot then I don't think you can go far wrong with this book which has 30 different designs to complete. I purchased this book as part of one of Amazon's Lightening Deals just before Christmas and it was a great buy.Each of the different designs which include a skull, tiger, roosters and a gecko (to name just a few) has at least 1000 dots per picture and so this does have some quite challenging pictures to complete. The pictures are colour coded and if you can complete them in their corresponding colours then it does make the end result that little bit more spectacular and you can of course choose to colour in the pictures when completed too.A great Dot to Dot book with some wonderful designs and thousands of dots to search for.

I adore doing these. Being able to do the dots in different colours using the guide adds to the experience and the pictures are stunning. Only thing is sometimes it’s hard to tell which number is assigned to which dot so plan before you start to draw your like. I recommend a ruler for some as sometimes the dots are a fair distance and it’s hard to do without a ruler.
