Make some display room for Granamyr
Amazing. Size, scuplt detail- great. I "feel" this guy's personality while he's sitting beside my laptop on my desk (no doubt critiquing my spelling and grammar with patient corrections). Huge! You will need to clear some shelf space; or like me, raise a shelf to make room for him.One of the line's best items. A unique collective piece that I highly recommend you save your allowance for.

Not only is it an excellent dragon sculpt
If you are a fan of dragons of any kind this is a must-purchase. Not only is it an excellent dragon sculpt, it is a sculpt of the famous Granamyr from the 1980s MOTU; he was one of the best characters in the series, even though he only appeared it about five episodes. The detail is incredible, right down to his dour expression.

great toy
He just is awesome.the color is perfect. The only problem was his left arm was really tight and took so gentle work to get it to move.

Great Magic-Wielding Dragon!
When I rediscovered Masters of the Universe in mid 2008 (a few months before I had ever even heard of Classics), I began watching the loveable Filmation cartoon again and was impressed with Granamyr. I remember thinking 'Wow! How come this guy never had a toy back in the day?' Well, I never imagined that a few years later Granamyr in figure form would be a reality. When the news about Granamyr first started to circulate, there was some speculation as to which color Granamyr would be. After all, the lord of dragons was a greenish-yellow in the mini comics, but red in the cartoon. Instead of deciding on their own, Mattel made a pretty cool move and let the attendees of SDCC vote on which color Granamyr would be. Luckily (in my opinion), red won the poll, so it was a Filmation accurate Granamyr on the way! Now, no matter how many videos you watch or pictures you look at online, Granamyr is much more impressive in hand; when you can appreciate his size and heft for yourself. As soon as I received my Granamyr and freed him from the shipping boxes, I took several moments to just admire his beautiful packaging. Truly, he has the best box art I've seen on any toy in a very, very long time; Rudy Obrero (the same artist who also did the box art for the Classics Wind Raider) has really outdone himself with Granamyr, and I absolutely cannot wait to see the packaging for Castle Grayskull! As for the figure itself, it looks as if it has been lifted straight from the screen. With his big, bulbous body and comparatively skinny arms, legs and wings and laughable horned helmet, Granamyr looks ridiculous enough to be totally awesome and belong nowhere else but in Masters of the Universe. I don't need to tell you what kind of incredible detail he has, especially on the head, hands, feet, wings, tail and back. Unfortunately, there have been several problems plaguing Granamyr. More of an inconvenience and less of a problem, Granaymr's entire stock was delayed and he was shipped out in waves, causing customers to receive him slowly but surely (I ordered mine on December 17th and didn't receive him until January 9th). There have also been reports concerning Granamyr's sockets and joints, particularly the arms and tail; either fitting incorrectly or not at all in some cases. I can't weigh in on this myself as I've left my Granamyr in box; unassembled. A slight complaint some customers have had with the figure is that he doesn't seem to be able to stand very well on his own, but keep in mind that he wasn't really intended to. Granamyr is supposed (and looks best) to be in his iconic sitting position, just like in the box art and the way he appeared 90% of the time in the cartoon. Personally, the only gripe I have with Granamyr is the fact that he's pretty bare bones. He comes with not one single accessory. I suppose he doesn't need weapons or anything, he is a dragon after all, but it would have been very, very nice had his treasure horde been included like a display base for him to sit on, just like the box art; especially since the weapons seen on the box are readily available in the Weapons Rack set. All in all, I'm very pleased and excited to finally add the very first (and possibly only) dragon to MOTUC; Dragon Blaster Skeletor's armor and Draego-Man not withstanding. His price point is a bit high, especially for the casual collector, but trust me guys, once you have him in hand his box art is almost worth it alone.

I loooooove it!!!
Like the other reviewers here I'm also going to gush about how great this figure is. Seriously, pictures do not do him justice and the box art - WOW! And he is huge and heavy!Mine put together very easily (no issues with the tail connector like I've read about). And the paint job is awesome - so many shadings and the purple really works. I'm so glad he came in red. And I'm so glad I forked out for him. Okay so you have to be a serious-ish collector to pay this much for a figure but he is totally worth it.I am looking for something for him to hold though. Like the other reviewer here I also stole poor Procrustus's Star Seed (before you feel bad for him the giant is looking pretty cool on my Game of Thrones Throne - lol) but I would've liked something custom made for Granamyr. I guess he just doesn't need anything - he is a wise dragon after all.To summarize - awesome and amazing and I love it!!!

Amazing figure!!
He is a fantastic incarnation!! I was so happy to get him. I did have a hard time getting his tail on however, in fact I broke part of the inside ring that holds the tail but I was able to fix it with a little super glue. He is amazing sitting on my shelf, I gave him the Star Seed that comes with the Procrustus figure to hold and he looks even cooler!!
