This DVD, The Simpsons: Christmas with the Simpsons, is more for the hardcore fans who love The Simpsons & who enjoy collecting all The Simpsons DVDs. As you really only get 5 episodes and it would be better to buy the complete seasons for only a few quid more.The 5 episodes you get are:Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire (from series 1)Mr. Plow (from series 4)Miracle on Evergreen Terrace (from series 9)Grift of the Magi (from series 11)She of Little Faith (from series 13)You also get 1 or 2 extra's, but due to the very badly done set-out of the DVD menu screen i was not able to click on them.

As an avid Simpson Fan I have seen many a Christmas Special. This however is not the greatest Compliation ever.Whilst containing some great episodes (Mr Plow being the standout Homer: 'Lets play Hungry, Hungry, Hippos!') many of the great Christmas Episodes are missing. If you love the first series and basque in the sentimental glory, then you will love the First Ever Simpsons Christmas, but I would hold out for a better mix, and more modern mix (let's face it; Homer gets better as the series' go by.)I don't want to completely dismiss this DVD (hence 4 Stars), as it is great, but be aware if you waiting to be blown away, because there are many Classic Episodes missing.

I purchased this DVD mistakenly thinking it was a feature length movie. Silly me.It's a mixed bag of early Simpson episodes. It's still good but it's just like sitting down for a TV episode. I bought it for my 4 year old daughter as she's a huge fan. She likes it so I guess my 2 star review is slightly unfair.She is now standing beside me with her sister Éabha and they made me change the rating! So, I guess it's a 5 star review for Bart and the family!!Eugene Brosnan

Got all the classic Christmas episodes.

Great DVD for my brother and sister to watch at Christmas time, they are both simpsons fans and this was a great buy. Arrived quickly and without any damage.
