Feeding Therapist Recommended
My child’s feeding therapist recommended we get him a foot rest for his high chair, as it could make eating more comfortable & help him sit still longer. It’s been a great addition! It does fall off pretty easily when my son puts pressure. But otherwise it’s been good!

Simple and sturdy! Recommend!
First impression ~ cute packaging! Always makes me feel happy when things are packaged well and is easily giftable this way. Perfect fit and match for the high chair. Love the easy install so that it can be adjusted as our little ones grow. The design is great to add friction, but not for lazy me who wants to do a quick wipe. Ha~ thankfully it's dishwasher safe. And the bonus of the bib clip. Small addition, but appreciated! This may just be us (highly likely.. haha!), but just in case others misread the instructions..Step 3: "close clamp OVER both O-rings"Make sure you clamp OVER/around the rings. Not above it (on top) like we initially did. Whoops! We were wondering why it kept sliding down. Haha. But now that we installed it correctly, it is super sturdy and doesn't budge even though my 12 month old sometimes puts some weight on it trying to stand. And to add, my husband did it and said it was really difficult and awkward to clamp it closed. I definitely wouldn't have been able to. So not sure if we did something wrong or not. But just FYI.

Great fit, a bit expensive for what it is. The high chair is cheaper.
Fits great, and it is adjustable. A bit expensive for what it is, but since the highchair at IKEA is so inexpensive, it makes it still affordable.

It breaks
Breaks easily. The rings that hold it don't support the weight.

Good high chair accessory
Overall I really like this footrest, but the clips that hold it up fall off a lot. It’s super easy to clean and looks great, so it was still a good purchase for me!

Broke in half after 14 months of use
While the fit was great and the slip resistance was manageable (I only had to adjust it every couple of months), it ended up breaking in half by the time my daughter was 1.5 years old. So, it lasted about 14 months in total. By the time she was a year old she was able to push down on it pretty hard with her feet, and it started to bend bit by bit. It eventually split in the middle when she pressed down on it with her feet one too many times. So, although it served us well for a time, I wouldn’t buy it again. Would rather find something with better durability.

Easy upgrade!
Love this easy upgrade to the Ikea Antilop highchair. We have a pricey highchair for our toddler because we wanted the adjustable footrest as she grew. It’s a pain to clean, we trip over it all the time, and she still uses it as a chair so we couldn’t pass it down to little sister. The ikea highchair is lightweight, affordable, and SO easy to clean. Now that it’s so easy to modify with this footrest it checks all the boxes. One note is that this is not at all the same shade of white as the highchair itself. I don’t love that, but I’m willing to live with it.

Broke within 24hrs- update!!
Original- While I initially really liked the simplicity of this, it broke within 24 hours.Update! After this initial 1 star review, the owner reached out to me and send me a complimentary replacement part and explained that there had been an issue with a small percentage of the clamps. I sincerely appreciated her reaching out in a way that seemed like she genuinely cared about the quality of the product and my experience with it, rather than just in response to my negative review. The replacement parts have been working great and i no longer have any complaints.
