150g pot contains about 60 cloves, varying sizes. Stickier than the unpeeled cloves, but all good.
150g black garlic currently on for a very competitive price and with a long BBD until May 2019. These cloves have already been peeled, everything has been done - all ready to be added to the recipe. There's around 60 cloves in this pot. Varying sizes, but all good.A bit wetter and stickier than the cloves still in the bulb that you peel yourself, but they're still fine, and have the same balsamic, fudgy garlicky molassed flavour.Black garlic is a secret weapon for me in all sorts of stews and casseroles, risottos and egg dishes, really adds to the flavour and I'd hate to be without it.On preference, I like to use the slightly drier cloves from the bulbs, but this pot is a great standby and ready to use. I keep the opened pot in the fridge, the lid closes tight on the pot, so no deterioration of contents and no possibility of transference of flavours or fragrance.Very good product.

Haha! It looks like a tub of sheep droppings! Now back to giving a serious review- I’ve never tried authentic Korean black garlic so I’m afraid I’ve nothing to compare it to. This is softer and wetter than the black garlic sold as a whole bulb in its skin. It has a sweet and sour fermented taste like balsamic vinegar, with a hint of garlic.

Best loose black garlic I've tasted. Delicious on it's own, added to butter or other recipes pretty much anything to add depth of flavour.

Purchased for use in a chicken liver pate recipe. Everyone thinks it is superb and it doesn't make your breath unpleasant.

Bland. I only used a few cloves then went back to using the garlic from my garden.

Bought this as a gift for my best friend who was absolutely delighted with it. The price and convenience of having peeled cloves compared to the bulbs bought in supermarkets is a huge bonus with none of the flavour or, I imagine, the benefits being compromised. A great purchase for all black garlic lovers!

Very disappointed
This lot are bitter & flat without any sweetness. I've bought this previously and loved the product - sweet, full-flavoured, rich black garlic. Yeugh, never again.
