Careful when selecting size and make sure the correct model truck is selected.
Great after market tie down for your truck. Easy to install and low profile when not using is a plus.

These are sturdy, well built and easy to install
I took a gamble and was hoping they would fit my 2009 Dodge ram and they sure did. My Dodge has that plastic railing cover with a smaller hole cut into the plastic. Never made much sense to me as the plastic hole is smaller than the bed side opening. Anyway, there is a pre-marked out cut pattern and I finally cut that out and dropped these right in. Tightened up with a screw driver and bam, all done. They feel secure and will take a good amount of stress on them. The metal is beefy and the hooks underneath fit like a glove. Not sure why my truck isn't listed, but if you can cut plastic ( it wasn't too hard but not quick and easy to cut cleanly ) these are perfect. I love the low profile when not being used. These are great.

Good for the price. I expected better
These hooks are very affordable so take the cons with a grain of salt but there aren't very many cons aside from the fact that it is made out of mostly plastic. There does seem to be a few pieces of structural steel on the inside of all the plastic but it's probably less than an 1/8 inch thick maybe closer to 16th inch thick structural steel on the inside and I question whether that is enough compared to the metal lip of my truck that I have always used. Nevertheless it is still plenty strong and should hold up well to light to medium duty use for sure. It was a little difficult to install on my old Silverado but they did indeed fit. My main complaint is the one side functions very loosely and easily but the other side seems to always be a little bound up no matter how much adjusting I do to it. Nevertheless I am still able to easily pull it out with a couple fingers and the built-in magnets do a great job at keeping the hook extended upwards but when You are done using it you can just slap them down with ease and they stay down as well. I'm hoping I can find some that can handle some heavy duty use next time with more metal in them. 4 stars nonetheless because they are very affordable.

Work well
These work well when I need to fold back the hard tonneau cover to strap large items into the bed. They have to be removed to allow the tonneau to close, but they are easily removable. Pleased with them.

Fits 1997 F150
These tie-down anchors look solid and well made. The seller’s listing says they’re compatible with 98-14 F150s. I installed these on my 1997 Ford F150 without issues. They fit perfectly and work well. It took less than 10 minutes to install. The metal components are made from stainless steel, but I can’t tell whether it’s 316 or 304 SS. 304 SS will rust over time in exterior applications. I will update this review if this product rusts prematurely.

Exactly as advertised.
This is perfect! The instructions that came with these were clear and very easy to understand. The installation took literally seconds. Once in, they are quite solid and don't wobble so I am not too worried that they will make any noise. The locking in the up position appears to be magnetic. Very easy to pull up and set back flush. These went on my 2003 F-350. Great price point.

Great Item
Installation couldn't be easier. Great fit. I use to have to go down to the rear bumper for tying down a load. Love that they retract below the top of the bedrail.

Needs bed rails for better fit
These retractable tie down anchors say they fit 98-14 Ford F150, 98-16 Ford Super Duty , 88-13 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra , and 95-08 Dodge RAM. I installed them on a 2004 Chevy Silverado factory bed rail. They fit the hole but wouldn’t tighten up enough to keep from sliding back and forth. They might have tightened up more if the truck had bed rail guards in place to take up the gap between bed and tie down anchor. It looks good and seems to be built well. The price is good, it just doesn’t fit snug enough.
