I'm extremely pleased with the USB Drive Thumb. It's worth the money and easy to use. I love the fact that it has a huge size. I've owned this for two weeks and I've been able to successfully transfer anything I need from my phone to laptop whenever I want seamlessly!

I'm not a tech guy. I struggle to turn on my tv for real. This thing is so easy to use. I just used it to back up both my and my wife's phones. All our apps, contacts, pics and videos. This guy provides over 500 gigabytes of data. That's more than they used to fake the moon landing. It has the iOS lighting plug on it. But if you're really cool and have an android phone, it comes with the adapter for USB -c. Recommended.

I’m not exactly tech savvy, so was nervous after some reviews I read talked about it being difficult to understand. It’s so easy. It guides you through, and if you don’t know what a symbol is later on within the app, just tap your screen and it’ll show you. Storage wise, this was such a great deal for 256 gb storage. I’m a picture hoarder. I always take about 10 pics in each ‘moment’ to find one good one out of the bunch. My problem is I literally never remember to go back and delete the excess. So I had literally over 9,000 pics on my phone, and over 1200 videos on it lol. Had blaring signs saying ‘no memory’ constantly, so finally got this. It works great, but my complaint is how long it takes to download. If you’re someone that’s just going to maintain downloading pics and vid’s, this is perfect. But for someone like me, with insane amounts to do- I’d look for faster downloading options. 2-4 seconds per pic isn’t bad. As long as you don’t have 9k pics to do lol. I like the fact that I can delete the excess pics after downloading, directly within the app for this storage device. And downloading by ‘memories’ makes it a bit easier for having years of pics to download.

Using it with the iOS app is fine enough. The app is a bit oddly organized but it plays videos just fine.Using it with PC though... it's hit and miss. I'm primarily trying to use this USB drive to store a lot of videos - TV shows, for example - so I can watch them on my phone without filling up its internal hard drive. Most videos I copy to the thumb drive are fine, but more than a few are not - they end up corrupted or otherwise altered, so that no thumbnail shows and the app won't play it. The PC won't recognize it either. Sometimes recopying the file works, sometimes it doesn't, but troubleshooting this per file when you have hundreds to copy over just isn't feasible.I think the drive is good for backing up what's on your phone, but it seems to me that copying data from your PC to play on your phone is a bit hit-and-miss.

bought this to backup my game data. its nice to have a reliable backup incase the worse happens. it was easy to format and have it start working
