fantasic product
I bought this product as I was looking for a greener way to do my gardening this year. This product is perfect!! You can make two different sized pots from old newspapers. It works out loads cheaper than buying trays and it's really easy to use. You don't have the hassle of trying to remove delicate plants from trays to plant out either, you just but this straight into the ground and the newspaper will break down naturally. I've recommended this product to lots of people.

Small plant pots made from newspaper? Yes!
As we all know . . .gardeners don't like spending money! If we can use something to start our seeds off in or grow seedlings in, we're on it! Old yoghurt pots - polystyrene cups - plastic food trays - and all assortment of containers that will hold compost incuding old wellies, plastic pipes and car tyres! So long as it can withstand a watering and can have drainage holes poked into it - we have grown stuff in it!If, you like to grow plants - flowers - veg from seed, like saving money (no need to buy those tiny fibre pots anymore!) then this device is a cracker! It's dead simple and dead easy to use. If I can make small newspaper plant pots with this - anybody can!I have uploaded a few pics with this review so you can see how it works and yes that is The Times newspaper! Other newspapers are available. So, how does this thing work?Get yourself a standard sized newspaper - I used The Times, but please feel free to use The Star for an interesting looking picture on your plantpot. The instructions are on the box -Cut newspaper into strips of 3 x 23 inches. Which nicely gives us exactly four strips from an opened out sheet of newspaper. Handy! So no need to measure - just fold it over four times and cut down their lengths.Wrap a strip around the handle of the pot maker and fold the excess under the bottom of the wooden handle. Try to wrap it around with a bit of slack as they can be fiddly to get off if tightly wrapped! Now place the handle (with paper folded under the bottom) firmly into the base thing and press and twist! Not the dance but the wrist action. Now slide your new paper pot off the handle and hey presto! You have a paper pot.Now make loads of em and get them in some potting trays and fill with your compost and plant your seeds! They do the job and can withstand a proper seedling watering regime. Gentle and from above. Don't be blasting them to smitherines with your super hose as they are only paper after all.Tip - When I make them, I make enough to fill a seed tray so that they hold each other up, so they're packed in!When ready - transplant them out either still in the paper, as the roots will grow through no problem - or you can remove the paper as you plant on if you feel the need. I personally leave it there. It will disintergrate over time if not this season it will when you dig your borders over next season. There you go! That's it. I will update this review with some nice photos of my seedlings in these pots over the coming months.Cracking little device this and it's quite relaxing knocking out a hundred or so pots!If you're looking for an absolutely cracking seed starter mini growhouse I can also thouroughly recommend this one here - Gardman Wooden GrowhouseGood luck in the garden folks for 2016!

Paper Potters
I have used a paper potter for some years and now buy them as presents for other folk. The potter is therapeutic, easy to use, eco-friendly and virtually indestructible. I gave two to a charity I support which gives horticultural therapy for military veterans suffering from physical and mental disorders as a result of their service experiences. The potters are highly successful in this work.

Pots a bit small but they are eco friendly
Wish I had got the larger one !Easy to use but getting the pots off the mould can be a problem, suggest you don't over tighten paper during roll upCompleted pots are easy to fill and fairly strong

Great gadget
Loved this product so much I bought two as gifts but decided to keep one for myself. A really good way to recycle old paper and no cleaning or storage needed for dozens of tiny seed pots. Have already made some that are in my green house they are holding up well ready to be planted straight into garden in spring. A larger size is also available. Delivery was very quick.

Aesthetic and useful
We have had great fun making the plug pots from newspaper during the winter and now they have been used successfully for our seeds. If you like the tactile quality of using wood you will find this lovely to handle.

Nachhaltig
